The charging through the wall thing works against any size base. What you do, is not go outside 1" of the wall, you go exactly 1" from the OUTSIDE edge of the wall. Given that walls themselves have a thickness, there's not even room for a 25mm base. Find myself explaining this a lot in games.

2024-10-28 07:49:27 +0000 UTCI think from a playing perspective 10th ed has been the most fun IF you play with practically all ruins with bottom floor closed off. From a rules perspective I feel if 10th ed 'fixed' their terrain rules it would be the best. E.g. Forests practically have no effect as far as LoS. I think if they extended the footprint idea, to allow a depth of los. like no LoS beyond 6 inches.
