A few months ago, I wrote about the new server and what the plans were. Well, that time has happened. Today, we've migrated to the new server.
If the site seems much faster and more reliable, it's on latest and greatest hardware funded from all of you as well as a little bit out of pocket. :)
The old server is still running (there is one more thing I need to move off of it - soon!), but here are the next enhancements planned. Some of these may get pushed into next year (I'm only one person with a day job, after all!).
* Discord migration of Chat (this requires me to write the TF Chatbot for it)
* Server upgrade to 64GB RAM (just for added overkill)
* More NAS Storage (for backups)
* More Local Storage (for redundancy - RAID 10 arrays)
* Expand battery backup systems - Currently able to run 12 minutes without power, want to get this to ~40-60 minutes. A rare occurrence (if at all), but you can never be too sure!
* New site
* New forum themes (Light/Dark variations)

2018-09-13 14:59:57 +0000 UTCI'll have to review when I leave work. My day job doesn't allow connections to outside ports other than 80 or 443 unless approved through the corporate firewall. As a result, I can't access anything on the TFGS network right now.

2018-08-19 20:12:22 +0000 UTCNo, we were hit very hard by a spammer on the site and chat. As a result, registrations were limited to admin approval and guest logins are denied for the chat. Registrations are back to normal now, and I've gone through the queue of users that tried to register. You should be able to login to the account that was pending approval. If not, please re-register as it was either approved or deleted when I was processing through the list. VPN and Proxy registrations were automatically deleted. Accounts I could not track to a legitimate internet service provider were automatically deleted.

It’s been a week since I created it and I still have yet to get any sort of activation email saying it was approved. The email address listed in the registration section for help on such issues apparently doesn’t exist so I have nothing to email this question to, the chat on the site doesn’t seem to work for me so I can’t even ask there, and I’m at my absolute wits end.
