Ides of February Dev Blog - 2024
Added 2024-02-17 02:13:47 +0000 UTC-SMALL WARNING: The next update will be changing the world map. When it releases ensure your save is NOT on the world map or you might be left in the middle of an open empty field.
-3 Scenes have been added so far, each of them fairly long.
I'm starting on a fourth soon and that'll be all for the next round in terms of proper "scenes"
-New world map is getting set up. Not a huge shift but increasing its size has given me more room for random events and smaller scenes!
-Working on a random encounter system where random events will pop up on the overworld map both combat and other.
-Setting up a player "Camp" hub where they can gather followers and companions to give small bonuses
-My goal for the first part of the "Road to Regium" update is to make a kind of "passive" gameplay loop where the player can hunt down enemies, get xp, money, etc.
-Adding a minor faction Hazel can get involved with or not that will give Hazel missions for money and other benefits.
Adding all this has kind of established for me that I need to go back and really learn the quest plug-ins to help players keep track of everything so after the Road to Regium update is fully released I'll probably go back and implement it so people don't have to backtrack as much when the world space gets bigger.
The next update will be adding quite a bit that will probably need to be polished more in the future but I think it's a step in the right direction.

She *did* sleep with Hazel's father, so it is possible she is with egg. Maybe the avians daughter technically being a half sibling to Hazel, and Hazel sparing her, makes her rethink her aliances? Just an idea.
