Patreon 2024 Rolls of Honour
Added 2024-07-31 14:53:15 +0000 UTCOh dear - we have been very poor at posting the rolls of honour of successful solvers for the 2024 sudoku hunts. After a decent start to the year with All the Fun of the Fair, we have not published the list of correct solvers since then, I don't think.
Part of the excuse is that it takes quite a time to turn the Forms list into a dramatic, Star Wars-style scroll of credits - mainly because we have so many solvers now that the list exceeds the length (by several times) of most of the automatic credits-creator software options out there!
But there is no excuse for not bringing you the lists of successful solvers in some form, and here they are from February through July in an Excel spreadsheet.
Many congratulations to those who feature anywhere in this file! There have been a few wrong answers over the months (significantly <1%), and a few duplicate entries, which we have tried to exclude. We haven't done any statistical analysis on streaks, or multiple appearances, because we don't want to delay bringing you this data, which you deserve to see.
For Blobz' Lord of the Rings Hunt, Blobz himself created a Star Wars scroll, which you can watch (across 9 minutes) here: https://sdhunt.github.io/sudoku-stuff/puzzhunt/lotr/honour-roll.html
Well done everybody, and get ready for tomorrow's hunt, by Scojojobo - it's a doozy!

2024-08-11 10:06:26 +0000 UTCI do enjoy seeing the credits in the videos. If interested, I'd be happy to make the credit clips and send them over. It should only take a few minutes.

2024-08-03 17:41:49 +0000 UTCWhy aren't you just publishing a spreadsheet? It takes 5 minutes. Just copy and paste the data (including time) into the spreadsheet, using Google Sheets, and share it with everybody, using Google Drive. For instance, see this shared spreadsheet: https://tinyurl.com/CTCCatalogue You can also share a whole folder, containing a file for each hunt! We don't need a boring Star War-wise roll of honour, where we cannot search our name. We just need to see the ranking.

2024-08-01 21:36:29 +0000 UTCTBH I like the idea of a sperate URL for the honour rolls so they can be seen at any time. Maybe Blobz's github page could be reused for other monthly challenges!
