November Reward - Put Out More Flags

Thank you so much for supporting the channel. We are delighted to bring you November's monthly reward today, a sudoku challenge called Put Out More Flags.
We have gone back to 9x9 sudokus this month, with a set of puzzle inspired by some less well known flags from around the world. You can play the puzzles online - there is a link on each page - and you can hide the cell colouring, which is only meant to add resemblance for the flags, by turning Hide Colours to On in the settings of Sudokupad.
To enter the competition, follow the instructions provided (see the end of the pack) and submit your answer to https://tinyurl.com/PutOutMoreFlags by November the 20th at 4pm UK Time.

Ended up quite enjoying these, thanks. Was somewhat deterred by the first puzzle which I found rather tricky, but while they were all fairly taxing each had some neat logic.

2025-11-13 12:29:07 +0000 UTCFantastic set, thank you, Mark and Simon! Feels like a perfect balance of difficulty to me, definitely on the harder spectrum, but quite manageable with some effort. Every puzzle is interesting and engaging and has no dull moments, as well has intriguing steps to resolve, often not one, being on the verge of not being resolved at all. Had several pleasant hours cracking your cryptic set! I wonder (as a future experiment) what the result would have been, had there been no solution checking for this set.
