July Monthly Reward - Regeneration

Welcome to July, and the new sudoku hunt! This one is called Regeneration, based on the proclivity of planarian flatworms to regenerate as separate organisms if they are cut in half.
There is a worm running through each puzzle, and in each 9x9 sudoku it must be divided into THREE separate worms of the types indicated. Separate rules appear in each puzzle. An attempt to give you clickthrough URLs has not been successful!
If you get stuck, remember there are often some very helpful people on the patreon-chat channel on the CtC Discord server - it might be worth popping over there. Links to play the puzzles are provided under each grid in the pack, and instructions to enter the competition also appear in the pack, and provide the only role for the starred cells.

2025-07-13 13:03:52 +0000 UTCAnyone who has a hint for the German whispers puzzle (2nd one)? I cannot seem to break through.. have been stuck now for forever. There are 4 cells along the yellow line which I am not sure yet belong to which German whisper line.

2025-07-03 13:40:07 +0000 UTCCan someone clarify if the German Whispers segments in puzzle 2 are ALLOWED to break the difference-of-5 rule at the ends at which the different segments meet? Please don't say if they do or do not -- just if they are allowed to.
