Kids' Monthly Reward - May

Hi Patreons,

Here's another special mid-month reward, conceived as a way for kids to enjoy a sudoku hunt, or those who want some puzzles a bit easier than the regular monthly rewards!

Many thanks to the Paint-By-Numbers Institute, aka Panthera and TheAsylm, who came up with these puzzles, and the fun rebus at the end. They really are very approachable indeed - the biggest hurdle may be grasping the Japanese Sums rules!

Please give the puzzles a try, and feel free to let us know how you got on by email, to crackingthecryptic@gmail.com - there's no prize for this, just the satisfaction of success at the end!

Is anyone else having issues with the non-colourblind links?

A sudoku that doesn't explode my brain :-) Love it

finally one I can complete! LOL

Tammy Russell

Very clever! Fun for the kid in all of us :)

Why?

How 2 unsubscribe?

(:

Consider the blue to be either sky, or perhaps hyacinth.

Matthew Buckley

It was a lot more obvious before I put the blue in. But the puzzle was a lot harder before I put the blue in. *shrug*

I'm 65 and managed to break a couple. Finally solved it. Best of luck kids.😁😁😁

Steve Hope

I'm struggling too, and I assume the title of the puzzle being a big clue. I still don't know if I'm right or not, so please don't take this message as face value.

I'm 40+ whitout kid to use as a pretext, Am I still allowed to play with it ? (If not, i'll continue to play with my lego while watching cartoons).

I did work it out (because I worked out what it was supposed to mean), it wasn't the most obvious thing no.

is anyone else struggling to determine what the first puzzle picture is supposed to be? Not the rebus but what the picture even is

This is awesome. Thank you, Mark & Simon. I immediately printed them out and gave them to our teenagers.
