April Reward Pack - Knightmare (Revision)

Do the puzzles disappear on the closing date? I can understand why they would but I was slowly working my way through some of the later puzzles. They're all 404 errors on my open puzzle tabs now.

Hey, first time doing a puzzle hunt. Is there any special rule about them? I seem to be stuck on number 2, and am wondering if there is something I am missing involving the answer to the first puzzle. I've restarted it about 4 times now, and spent nearly 6 hours on it now, and am completely stumped. I have had several breakthroughs, but, when I finish solving them, always seem to break the puzzle.

Just finished and submitter. Puzzle 19 was beautiful. Took a while to get rolling on it, but then it all dropped in place. Thanks for the great puzzles!

If the first number in that row or column is a 2, the first 2 numbers add to the clue outside the grid. If the first number is 3, the first 3 numbers add to the clue outside the grid. If the first number is 4, the first 4 numbers add to the clue outside the grid etc

First time doing puzzles like this and it's fun. Done with the first 17 puzzles, but not understanding the x-sum rule in puzzle 18. Can someone please explain it to me?

What a group Sudoku Skunkworks! Wisteria Fall, Fran, Bremster, James Peter, RiffClown, Doran T, dumediat, Randall, DJV, Chilly, Raumplaner, Myxo, Sotek, JeremyDover, Rockratzero. It was great fun to solve these puzzles which had varying degrees of difficulty and I am thankful to all of you for the great time I had solving them.

In the meantime you could solve the puzzle 19 using the link provided in the knightmare pdf document where puzzle 19 is described. The solved grid of puzzle 19 is used for getting the final answer for which there is some instruction found in the URL that is not working for you.

Please help: I've solved the first 18 correctly (confirmed), but the resulting tinyurl leads me to a shared drive 'FreeSkunkworksPacks' within which I cannot see the special version of the final puzzle. I've double checked all the final digits of my row 2s and am only using puzzles 6 - 18. Thanks

But, solving the other 18 puzzles is necessary to figure out which digits from puzzle 19 are needed for the final verification. The first line of the rules has the "additional instructions".

That's correct.

Can someone please tell me if I am missing something in my understanding . It seems the last puzzle number19 has no given numbers and can be solved independent of the other puzzles. True ?

3 would then be in r6 c5. I totally understand the confusion, it bends my brain in a way I don’t like!

I am really struggling with the rules on no.19. For examle If there is a 5 in r6 c3 where would 3 be?

Puzzle 19 was absolutely beautiful. This whole constraint has done something to my brain, though. I finished the pack 2 days ago and I'm still dreaming about cells that are a knight's move apart. This was like playing tetris in my college days. I would see the pieces when I close my eyes and in my dreams. I loved it though. Many thanks to the constructors. A brilliant pack.

Congrats to the Sudoku Skunkwork team for a truly magnificent pack. Puzzle 19 was the 'pièce de résistance'. I really like the Knightmare rule. It generates beautiful logic.

That is correct. The V is very important because of the declared negative constraint.

Is the revision only a V in column 5?
