September Patreon Reward: Linked Sudoku

Hello Patreons!

Thanks for supporting us – we really appreciate it. The attached document contains links, rules and grids for this month's reward, and also how to send us the answer, by September 20th at the latest.

Note - you should use the information that the three puzzles are linked!

Have fun with these puzzles,

Simon & Mark

I so badly wanted to have a go at this month's reward puzzle with the submission date also being my 43rd birthday, to get a double shout-out but it obviously wasn't to be. Still, there's always next month to have a go.

Thanks for the reply. I'm new to Patreon but not CTC. I found the puzzles a bit difficult and was wondering if I got them right. Was also curious if there was a bot or something processing answers and I didn't format my submission correctly.

With the harder ones, Simon usually reads out the names of correct entries on the youtube channel! Last month I think had over 2000s entries though, so probably a lot harder to do!

From my experience, you only get a reply if there is something wrong, suggesting you double check your solution.

It is not specified which one can be solved alone. Good luck finding it!

I’ve sent in solutions for both last month and this month and have heard nothing back. Just a simple email with the requested information. Is there something I am missing?

Out of curiosity, is it that the first puzzle can be solved without the knowledge of another, or is it not specified which puzzle can be solved alone?

Small suggestion - put the year on the PDF filenames; this is a multiyear operation you've got going here.

How can I get hints? I am stumped by the second puzzle!

Congratulations on actually getting this set of puzzles out correctly first time!!!

We meant r5c5 from each puzzle, but we're accepting other versions people have sent in already!

Cracking The Cryptic

I was wondering this myself. Great puzzles though! Perfect way to spend an afternoon while trying to get some online errands done.

When you say "the central digits", do you mean only r5c5 from each puzzle, or the entire middle row from each puzzle?
