August Patreon reward - GASP

Just reposting in case people haven't noriced the attachment on the first post:

Hello Patreons!

Thanks for supporting us – we have had some great competition puzzle packs in the last couple of months (thanks ZooZ, Panthera, TheAsylm and Grkles!), but this month’s competition returns to something genuinely approachable. We call this Genuinely Approachable Sudoku/Puzzles (GASP) as it mixes sudoku with some of the more popular and understandable pencil puzzle types.

You can see the puzzles in the attached document, which also has links to play them in our software. These really are genuinely approachable - give them a try!

Good luck,

Simon & Mark

Signed up yesterday and checking out some of the old ones. The second one basically killed me somehow, I missed a couple things that felt silly maybe? The other two weren’t so bad

Thank you so much for the approachable puzzles! They allowed me to participate in the challenge and were such a pleasure to do!

Great set of puzzles. Finished it in an afternoon. I'm not submitting a password because I already have Baba, but add my finish to the number of solves.

Hi Annie, the digits in the grey cells count how many of the cells touching it are the number in the box from the second puzzle. So if the number in the box from the second puzzle puzzle was 3, the number in the grey cells in this puzzle would be how many 3s that cell touches. This includes cells it touches diagonally. If it was just touching one 3 for example, it would be a 1.

Great set of puzzles! They were not too difficult. I wasn't very familiar with these variants, so it was a great introduction in these variants!

Could anyone just reword the instructions for the last puzzle? I'm not sure I understand...

So nice to join Patreon this month and be presented with such an accessible sets of puzzles. Thank you! Really liked the Mine Sweeper style.

Assuming this question is regarding the modulus lines puzzles, which is in another post. Anyway, the answer would in the case of modulus residues be that they do not have to be in order.

A delightful little set of puzzles. Thank you!

This is the first one I've managed to complete before the closing date. Thanks to all involved in creating and testing them. Maybe I'll go back now and try some of the earlier ones that I originally found too testing!!

In the 1st puzzle, do the sets have to be in order (1/4 then 2/5 then 3/6 or the reverse) or can it loop (2/5 then either 1/4 or 3/6 followed by the remaining set or even 3/6 followed by 1/4 then 2/5)?

I think this might be the first one i've completed. Loved it!

Thank you guys - this was Genuinely Approachable fun!
