Added 2022-07-01 15:00:01 +0000 UTCEqual Sum Lines by Joseph Nehme (ZooZ)
Hello Patreons! Thank you so much for supporting us. Your main reward this month is a pack of puzzles themed on Equal Sum Lines. PLEASE try them - we think they are Epic! The links to play them in our software are all in the attached pdf file.
Thanks to Joseph for creating them, and checking the pack. To enter the competition (a Baba is You key will be the prize) send us the digits from middle row of the puzzle Endgame (no spaces needed) by 4pm UK time on 20th July 2022 to crackingthecryptic@gmail.com . Good luck, and enjoy!

OMD i spent 2 hours on the first puzzle thinking it said knight! :-(
2022-07-25 20:03:12 +0000 UTCi see how some people like the puzzles, but for me they are way to hard. i have only solved 2, of which 1 with a lot of discord help. a lot. i just can't find the logic on my own and don't have time to spend full days on puzzles. i hope next packs are more approachable or have an easy mode through. that would be my tip. create every pack in two versions, one for normal people like me, and one for the wizzards... Cheers!

2022-07-16 21:53:45 +0000 UTCHi Michiel, thanks for the reply. I came back to this one with fresh eyes and finished in 30 minutes. No idea what I was doing before...
2022-07-13 21:40:10 +0000 UTCIncredible journey! I got stuck at some points (The Square and Traffic nearly defeated me :D) but I finally manage to finish it :) Joseph, take a bow for such a treat!
2022-07-13 09:41:20 +0000 UTCAnd I just checked the Discord channel..................Hints all over the place (see spoilers) on #patreon-chat
2022-07-13 09:05:34 +0000 UTCHi Marc, got stuck almost everywhere. Looking for hints too. Maybe via Discord channel)
2022-07-13 09:02:48 +0000 UTCGreat puzzles but I would love to receive some hints as they are too difficult for me :-( (via Discord, not on this page obviously)
2022-07-13 09:01:57 +0000 UTCDear Juris, just click on the link and when the app page opens right click your mouse.................. and select "print" (either you print the page directly or you print "pdf")
2022-07-13 08:59:34 +0000 UTCGreat puzzles! I'm hopelessly stuck on Hopscotch Line though. I've started from scratch three times and still can't figure out where I'm going wrong :'(
2022-07-12 21:40:19 +0000 UTCWell, I bought a book that has graphing paper, and that makes it really easy to copy out sudoku puzzles by hand. Especially these equal sums ones since most of them don't have much.
2022-07-12 01:34:47 +0000 UTCNevermind. I figured it out. I was just using bad logic.

2022-07-09 15:34:51 +0000 UTCSounds like a nice suggestion. Maybe they’ll put that together.
2022-07-09 13:32:24 +0000 UTCIt is so sad that there is no pdf with actual puzzles in it but just the links to an app. After a long day at the computer i just wish to print out the puzzles and do them the old way - on paper with pencil.
2022-07-09 05:39:39 +0000 UTCCan someone help me out on Endgame? I finished all of the puzzles and placed the numbers in the corresponding spots, but I can't seem to work it out. I need to know if I placed the digits in the correct spots and I'm using bad logic in Endgame, or if I somehow completed the 12 puzzles but have the wrong digits. Please help. Thanks.

2022-07-08 00:05:14 +0000 UTCThanks for a wonderful set of puzzles Joseph Nehme. Some difficult nuggets to unearth at times, but all the more rewarding when unearthed, and the interplay between the different combinations of rules brought out some very nice logical variations.

2022-07-07 15:24:53 +0000 UTCOh my God you've made my day. I read Knights move too!
2022-07-07 13:48:37 +0000 UTCHAHAHAHAHAHA THAT EXPLAINS ALL MY WOES. THANK YOU.
2022-07-07 01:52:50 +0000 UTCThe parity of an integer is its attribute of being even or odd
2022-07-06 22:46:30 +0000 UTCOne of my favorite packs since I've been a Patreon. It was all challenging and clever, but still solvable for me without asking for help. Perfectly in the sweet spot! Left 4 puzzles to sit overnight; two I had broken and were easily fixed on take 2; one I thought I couldn't find a difficult break-in but in reality had just failed to make use of a deduction I'd already made; and the last one (The Square) actually was a difficult break-in but cracked when approached with a fresh mind. Great stuff, thank you for it.
2022-07-06 16:56:21 +0000 UTCWhen you (mis)read the rules to the first puzzle as "knight's move", and the puzzle breaks, and you go over it several times and cannot figure out what you did wrong.... yeah, that's me. :(
2022-07-05 16:02:33 +0000 UTCJust sent in the solution to this awesome pack, it really challenged me but was also just within reach, so the sense of achievement after each puzzle was real. 😊 Thanks for offering this!
2022-07-05 13:06:08 +0000 UTCWhat a beautiful puzzle pack! The logic in 'Traffic' is just crazy. Thanks Joseph, and Simon and Mark!
2022-07-04 16:25:04 +0000 UTCLoved every puzzle, blown away by the cleverness of the constructor to use equal sum lines within all the other genres of cryptic sudoku, and none were easy
2022-07-03 22:42:10 +0000 UTCEqual sums are one of my favorites! Thank you Simon& Mark & Joseph for providing this!!
2022-07-02 13:25:12 +0000 UTCThank you! Great variety and all wonderful and creative on their own, a fantastic pack!
2022-07-02 10:35:44 +0000 UTCGood question! What is meant is odd/even parity, and that is the 'default' meaning even if it could benefit from being made more explicit.

2022-07-02 01:18:35 +0000 UTCSplendid puzzles, and a wonderful journey through the world of equal sums. Particularly the ones called "Traffic" and "The Square" really shuffled parts of my brain around that I didn't realize still worked! And not one of the puzzles was in any way "run-of-the-mill"... each one had something truly new to offer, and believe me... I have seen many things over the years. I just can't thank Joseph Nehme enough for these gorgeous puzzles!!!

2022-07-02 01:18:13 +0000 UTCIn Hopscotch Line (2nd puzzle), could someone define "parity" for me? Odd/even? High/Low? I'm not sure what is meant. Thank you.
