Ironically Third Time's a Charm
Added 2022-04-01 15:39:49 +0000 UTCSo this PDF should have the links (to April's reward puzzles Three Times a Sudoku) without the need to remove any spaces at the end of the URLs. No idea how that happened - apologies again.

2022-04-07 08:54:37 +0000 UTCMaybe a stupid beginner's question but can digits on arrows repeat if it is possible by sudoku?
2022-04-07 08:38:12 +0000 UTCHello! Newbie here! I just wondered if, at the end of the month, the solution is posted. I keep trying the first one, but somehow I'm messing up somewhere. I'm sick right now and can't really think straight, but I would like to know eventually what I'm doing wrong :)

2022-04-06 00:40:43 +0000 UTCHave a look at the puzzle hunt discussion thread, there are some helpful pointers for puzzle 2 :)

2022-04-05 11:06:32 +0000 UTCThanks, enjoyed these. A bit of grit to them all without being tortuously difficult.

2022-04-04 19:11:39 +0000 UTCThe CtC app doesn't actually say they're correct, it just says it didn't find a mistake ("looks good to me"). The software can only find out if standard Sudoku rules (9 diff. digits in rows, columns, regions) are met, but if you made a mistake in cages or thermos, it will not notify you.

2022-04-04 18:47:23 +0000 UTCI solved the 1st one but I'm stuck on the 2nd. I'm sure I'm missing something but I just can't find enough logic to proceed
2022-04-04 16:29:13 +0000 UTCI finished all three - the CtC app says they're correct, yet I don't have 3 numbers that are the same across the puzzles. Heck, I don't even have one. Any idea how to proceed?
2022-04-04 12:39:17 +0000 UTCJust finished the third puzzle myself. I kept fighting the urge to use the 'line repeats' logic to eliminate possibilities; and yes, you are correct. Having finally finished, I can confirm that numbers can repeat at any point along the line.
2022-04-04 02:16:26 +0000 UTCI think they can repeat on the lines at any point if permitted by sudoku rules, as it is not said otherwise (and judging by my final result).
2022-04-04 02:00:30 +0000 UTCThank you.
2022-04-03 19:26:46 +0000 UTCThis third puzzle is a new ruleset for me. On these "three-lines," can digits repeat on the line at any point, only at non-adjacent points(ie., no back-to-back of the same number, even if they don't see each other by normal sudoku rules) or can they not repeat at all?
2022-04-03 18:29:07 +0000 UTCSubtract, as in arithmetic. So if the orange cell in puzzle 1 was a 3, the given digit in that cell in puzzle 2 would be 7 (10 - 3 = 7). At least, I think that's what it means, I haven't got that far!

2022-04-03 09:42:53 +0000 UTCI'm guessing there's some special technique we're supposed to spot on the 3rd one, because I can't see any logical way to solve this.
2022-04-02 22:47:56 +0000 UTCSorry, I don't know what "from 10" and "from 9" mean. English is not my first language. Thanks for answer.
2022-04-02 21:06:14 +0000 UTCBrilliant puzzles! Thoroughly enjoyed them!
