Added 2021-12-18 16:00:05 +0000 UTCHi Patreons!
Thanks so much for supporting our channel. We are delighted to bring you a fantastic Christmas present - a puzzle/sudoku hunt by some wonderful constructors: PjotrV, Panthera and Aspartagcus. You can access this puzzle hunt by going to this URL: https://amgine.nl
The password you need to open the file is CLEOPATRA. If you can reach the end of the hunt, there is a one-word answer that you can send to us at crackingthecryptic@gmail.com
There will be a shout-out for the first five correct answers on the channel, as well as a prize for the first entry, and another entry drawn after 31st December - we're not expecting any correct entries within the first 24 hours! This is meant to take you all the holiday period.
But you WILL love the puzzles. Once again, thanks to PjotrV, Panthera and Aspartagcus, and also to all of you guys for supporting us. Happy Holidays!

"Don't get stung" is too hard for me, are there hints somewhere when the challenge is completed? I tried to join discord but I am not comfortable sharing my phone number so that's not an option.
2022-03-25 17:52:12 +0000 UTCI'm late/new to this, but this is just awesome. All the puzzles so far were great, but I loved the Carpet Houses. The rules were really intuitive and the solve method was uber thematic. CTC is easily the best value patreon proposition I've come across.
2022-01-28 21:06:35 +0000 UTCThanks to the setters for their Herculean efforts. Finally finished this yesterday. I do admit to cheating on a couple as they were puzzle types I don't really get on with. Now I will try to get my life back, but may suffer withdrawal symptoms.

2022-01-10 14:26:57 +0000 UTCI'd thought it might be something like that, but I'd been looking at the narrower blue sections instead of boxes 1/9. Even with the hint, that puzzle didn't go down easy, but I eventually cracked it, so thanks for your help!

2022-01-02 03:10:07 +0000 UTCIf you list out all the various combinations for X/V/white/black, to determine what combinations of numbers can be ruled out as adjacent due to the negative constraints in Box 1/9, you can eventually determine some numbers that have to be tucked into corners and what surrounds them, which majorly limits the options for the center square, sort of a modified magic square setup. And then using the interaction with the V squares in intersecting row 3 and column 9 you can eventually figure out how to orient the numbers in boxes 1/9.

2022-01-01 19:59:34 +0000 UTCI've thoroughly enjoyed this puzzle hunt, but the 100% challenge has defeated me, largely thanks to Ra's Miracle Squares. How are on earth do you even start that puzzle? At any rate, thanks to all the constructors for their hard work!
