Crux by Jay Dyer
Added 2023-11-02 21:30:01 +0000 UTCToday Simon attempted one of the hardest sudokus we've ever seen. Jay Dyer's behemoth Crux is a puzzle that is both fascinating and baffling! With apologies to those who prefer their videos at well under Lord Of The Rings length, you can watch Simon's solve below. We're going to monitor the comments under the Gallimaufry video to see if there is any appetite to release this on the main channel but in the meantime....:
Play Jay's Crux here:

Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply. Divide the grid entirely into '15-clumps' - non-overlapping orthogonally connected groups of cells, each of which contains no repeated digits and sums to 15. An arrow in a grid indicates that exactly N 15-clumps can be seen in the direction of the arrow, where N is the digit in the arrow's cell. The arrow's cell is not counted, though that cell's clump may be counted if other cells in it are visible in that direction. Two arrows in the same cell are counted as independent clues.

Maybe it's because they shifted the video to the channel. Thank you, found it.
