His Destiny - Chapter 1
Added 2024-02-24 08:55:51 +0000 UTCHappy Saturday, everyone! First of all, sorry for the delay on this update. I had to rewrite it a couple of times because I wanted it to be perfect. And now I am finally satisfied.
I have been excited about this for the last week, and this is the surprise I told you about. Now, as I told you in my last update, some of you may remember that in the poll I put out in December for new stories, this option came in second.
But with how close the pole was and how much you wanted it, I promised that I would write this story as well.
So here I am with the first chapter of the new story, which is about Harry being the first male Veela in centuries.
I hope you like it, and tell me down below how you feel about it.
Thank you for your loving support, and all of you are the best.
How many times does a human being ask themselves, “What the fuck is my life?”
For most, it was the question they asked a few times when their lives became rough.
But for one Harry Potter, he has been wandering about this depressing question his whole life.
First, it was when he was a toddler. At the age of almost two years, when his parents died, his little brain at the time was confused about why everything had changed so suddenly.
He was confused as to why he couldn’t play with his parents and had to see the ugly faces of a fat man and a skinny woman whom he had never met before.
But being the child with close to no understanding of anything, he didn’t understand that he just lost his parents and his life just became worse.
Although all that changed when he was 6 years old, being the smart kid he was, he began asking what happened with his life.
Though after receiving mental and physical abuse from his uncle and aunt, he, for his own good, stopped asking them.
But that didn’t mean he didn’t whisper quietly to himself in the darkness of his cupboard about what was wrong with his life.
And when Harry accepted that he had to suffer his whole life under the Dursleys, the biggest 'what the fuck' dropped into his life.
Which was in the form of a giant man who literally broke the door and came to change his life for good.
At that moment, being 14 years old, he was old enough to question, “What the fuck is my life?” when the giant man whose name was Hagrid told him he was a wizard.
After that, Harry began living his true life as the wizard he was born as.
And since then, there has been nothing but the constant wandering of whether he was a plaything for faith. She just kept fucking his life for her own enjoyment.
First, it was the secret of philosopher Stone that had him face a Cerberus, and then he almost lost his friend on a giant chess board. And at the end of the year, he had to fight his defence teacher, whose body was under the control of the monster who killed his parents.
Going through all of this in a single year at the age of 14 was traumatic enough, and you would think that Harry’s next years in school were without any chaos.
But No! It’s seemed that the power beings up there weren’t satisfied enough, and they kept playing with his life.
In his second year, not only did he have to face the whole school's accusations, but he also had to defeat a real-life basilisk after almost losing his own life.
Then, in the third year, it was the dementors, suffering the nightmares of his mother dying and then facing a werewolf who was none other than his father’s friend.
After suffering all of this in just the first three years of his school life, Harry hopped, prayed, and did everything he could for a peaceful fourth year.
.
..
…
….Oh, how naïve he was.
A burning red curse sailed past his right ear, almost touching it, and his most-spoken phrases left his mouth in an angered shout.
“What the fucking fuck is wrong with my life?!!!!”
How could he have been so delusional as to believe that he would finally have a tension-free year?
The fucking school didn’t even start, and it was only the summer break, and still here he was fighting for his life again!!.
Diving to his right, he dodged a curse that could have boiled his skin if hit, and he retaliated with force.
“Confringo!”
His blasting spell went straight towards the death eater he was fighting and exploded in front of two, knocking them off their feet and their bodies signed.
Effectively knocking them out.
But it was still not enough, as there were still five more death eaters who were beginning to overwhelm him.
Using his athleticism and sweet feet, Harry danced around the incoming spell fire and thought about how this all started.
His day began in the very early morning when he was forced to wake up by Mrs. Weasley to make the trip to the stadium where the Quidditch World Cup final was taking place today.
This match was all that Harry had been thinking about this past week, and his excitement level for it was over the moon.
And the final didn’t disappoint; it was everything he had wanted and was one of the best experiences of his life.
Everything was good and was going really well up until the time at night when he and all the Weasleys laid down for sleep after the tiring day.
In the middle of the night, he was woken up abruptly from his sleep, and Harry soon realised something was wrong when he heard the panicked screaming outside of their tent.
The happy-going day turned into a nightmare when they saw the death eaters attacking and destroying the camp.
After that, Harry Hermione and all the Weasley’s kids were ordered by Arthur to move to the safety zone while the elders went to fight the Dark Lord's followers.
But, of course, things couldn’t be that simple for Harry Potter.
Because of a panicked crowd, Harry and Hermione from the Weasleys. And such was his luck that they suddenly found themselves in between the death eater group, who quickly realised they had Harry Potter with them.
And now here he was, with Hermione on his back, fighting the dark wizards for their lives.
Even though the people they were fighting against were older than them, Harry and Hermione were still able to fight on their own against them.
The constant training Harry had done since he had come into the wizarding world to become better with the wand was definitely showing today. And seeing Hermione with him bring the fight to the death eaters made him feel proud of her progress.
She always had problems fighting, and after forcing him to train her with him, Harry was happy to see how much better she had become.
But unfortunately for them, it seemed no matter how good they were, they were still only 18 years old, and they were only 2. While the death eaters group they were fighting had 7 members,.
And after defeating three of them, they were still outnumbering them by four to one. And now, after fighting for the last 10 minutes, the fatigue was showing in Hermione, and Harry had to almost take them all on his own.
That’s why, despite how good he was for his age, Harry was still a single wizard facing adults, and sooner or later they were about to get the better of him.
But it seemed that the death eater knew that if they couldn’t defeat him, it'd be better to attack his tired friend instead.
Which was what they did.
“AVADA KEDAVRA”
Harry's heart went still, hearing those cursed words he had heard countless times in his nightmares. Turning to his right, he saw a death eater firing the killing curse at Hermione.
The bushy-haired friend of his became aware she was close to getting hit by the curse just when Harry did, and her eyes widened as she watched the green spell coming towards her. And seeing how close it was, she realised, with a sad smile, that she wouldn’t be able to dodge it in time.
Accepting her seemingly impending death, she turned her head to smile one last time at the boy she had always secretly loved.
But when she saw her black-haired best friend, her eyes widened in shock when she saw the glow covering Harry’s body.
When he saw the spell flying towards Hermione, something changed in Harry. In the heat of battle, he didn’t notice, but a part deep in him enclosed in chain finally broke after years of trying.
And when it did, a surge of magical energy spread through Harry's entire body, and he felt powerful like he had never before.
It was like a switch had flicked, and in a blink of an eye, everything changed.
Hermione, confused and surprised, became even more astonished when she saw what happened next.
With her own brown eyes, she watched as he disappeared in a ball of fire that covered him from head to toe. And when she turned around to look where he went, she found him standing right in front of her, protecting her, and then stopping the spell by summoning a plank of wood.
And then, with the pieces of destroyed wood, Harry blasted them onto the death eaters and pierced two of their chests.
Hermione gasped as she saw them drop down with their hands flying to their wounded chests and their wand falling from their wand.
“AHHHH!!”
Hearing a pair of painful screams, she realised there were still other death eaters, and when she turned around, she was left speechless when she saw the last two masked wizards burning in green flame.
She didn’t even know where the fire—which felt so much hotter than it should be—came from. But when she noticed Harry’s singed hands, her brain tried to make her accept that it was him who did that with his own hand.
Which should be impossible!!!
She couldn’t believe that she just watched Harry disappear in a ball of fire and then appear before her, saving her from getting killed. And not only that, she also just watched him defeat the four death eaters they were fighting in a couple of seconds.
It was all so fast and so quick that Hermione's genius brain was refusing to accept what it just saw.
But she had to, when the proof was right in her very own eyes.
With all the death eaters now either bleeding or screaming in pain from the fire, she brought her attention to her friend, who was looking around him in confused silence.
“Harry!” Hermione shouted, and she ran into his arms, grabbing him in her trademark hug. “You saved me!” She grinned up at him in relief and gratitude.
Harry looked down at his friend's pretty, smiling face and felt a warm feeling from it.
He tried to return the smile. But before he could, his eyes fluttered shut, and he felt all the sudden energy he felt leave his body as the darkness consumed him.
Before he lost consciousness, the last thing he saw was Hermione's concerned face as she tried to catch him and her scream in his ears.
-
Blinking his heavy eyes open, the first thing Harry saw was white. Plain, boring white all over covered him everywhere.
But when he moved his hands, he realised he was lying on a floor and was looking at the sky, which was completely white.
Lying there, he closed his eyes, and the memories of what just happened came back, rushing to his mind.
The midnight dead eater attack. He and Hermione got separated from the rest and then had to fight a gang of seven death eaters on their own.
He remembered them holding their own, but soon they began getting overwhelmed by their enemy, and the end looked like it was near. Until a death eater fired a killing curse at Hermione.
What happened after that was all foggy in his memory, but Harry did remember getting engulfed in fire and his body moving on its own.
It has felt like a magical energy blast happened inside of him, and because of that, he got a magical boost with which he defeated the death eaters.
Sitting up, he rubbed his eyes as he recalled Hermione's concerned eyes and screamed before he lost his senses.
After remembering all of that, there was only one question ringing in his mind.
“Am I dead?”
He asked out loud, expecting no answer, but he was left stunned when he did get one.
"No, you are not Harry Potter. In fact, I will say you have never been more alive in your life.”
Standing up, his hands flickered to get his wand out of his holster, but he soon realised he didn’t have his wand with him.
Cursing, he put his hand up to defend himself, but when he looked up to see who spoke to him, his whole body was frozen.
Standing right in front of him in the middle of the white background was a goddess.
She was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, and Harry doubted he might ever see anyone more gorgeous than her.
Her stunning face looked like it was designed by Michelangelo himself, and her hair was like a river of platinum white flowing down to her waist.
Without even knowing it, his eyes were bulging out, and his jaw was on the floor. Seeing that, the stunning angel giggled in his face.
Picking up his jaw, Harry stuttered in shock at the first thing that came to his mind: “Yo-you are a Veela!”
“Excellent observation, Harry. I’m impressed,” the goddess grinned widely.
“Then who-who are you? And how do you know my name?” Harry demanded with his guard up for any danger.
The Veela titled her head and smiled, seeing his tense body. “For your first question, answer: My name is Aurélie Potter." Harry’s eyes narrowed upon hearing his surname, but he let her continue, “And how do I know you? Well, of course I do; after all, you are my grandson.”
“Gra-grandson?!!!” Harry exclaimed in shock at the unexpected bomb.
The woman whose name was Aurélie nodded and said, “Hmm, in fact, I’m your great, great, great, great and great grandmother. Which means…” She counted her fingers, and if Harry wasn’t in shock, he would have found this amusing.
Once her counting was finished, she smiled widely and looked back at him. “I am your five-time great-grandmother,” she told him with a proud smile.
“What is going on?” Harry whispered in confusion with his head messed up, and then finally his dame broke: “What the FUCK is going on?!! Just a few seconds ago, I was fighting death eaters, and then suddenly I beat all of them with what power I don’t even know! And now I am here in this Merlin-knowing place where I meet my centuries-dead ancestors?!!!” He shouted in frustration, pulling his hairs, making them more messy than usual.
“You really are a Potter with that messy hair.” Aurélie smiled fondly, looking at his hair.
“What?” Harry asked dumbly.
"Sorry, you just remind me so much of your great-grandfather and my husband with how you look when you are angry and frustrated.” Aurélie giggled but stopped when she saw the bewildered face of Harry.
Sighing, she smiled and sat down on a bench, patting the space beside her. "Come, Harry, I will tell you everything,” she said to the last Potter alive.
Harry wanted to ask where the bench suddenly came from, but feeling the headache from all the questions he already had, he decided to ignore them.
Exhaling loudly, he let the tension release from his body and slumped down beside his ‘great grandmother’.
“Now first, the answer to where you are is,” Aurélie began after turning towards him, “you are in a limbo, a state where a magical person goes when he is stuck between death and being alive. So you’re not dead, but right now you are barely alive.”
Seeing him open his mouth to ask something, she added, “But don’t worry; once we are done here, you will go back to the land of living.”
Harry closed his mouth despite the questions in his confused mind and nodded her to continue.
Aurélie appreciated that with a smile: “Now in this state, I have come here to tell you about the history of mine and how special of a wizard you are.”
“Is this something about me being the first person to not die from a killing curse?” Harry asked dryly.
"No,” Aurélie said, shaking her head. “This is about you being the first male Veela in five centuries.”
Harry blinks dumbly. “Sorry what?!”
“To explain all of this, let me give you a brief history of who I am and of my past." Aurélie stood up, and with a wave of her hand, the entire surrounding area changed from white to a multitude of colours.
Harry stood up in surprise as the bench they were sitting on disappeared, and he looked around in fascination as their surroundings changed.
Before, the whole area was cornered in white, but now they were in the most beautiful places Harry had ever seen.
Harry looked around at what seemed to be a big ancient city with a big population living their best life.
Hearing a trail of laughter behind him, he turned around to see a couple of children chasing each other.
Harry smiled, seeing their happy faces, but he then realised they were running straight towards him. "No, no, don’t come here ki-“
His panicked warning got cut off when the kids, instead of colliding with him, passed straight through like he wasn’t there.
And then Harry realised he really wasn’t there. He was in a memory, and going by the laughter of Aurélie, she intentionally didn’t tell him.
"Ha, ha, very funny,” Harry grumbled with a half-hearted scowl.
"Sorry,” Aurélie said, covering her mouth to stop laughing. “I just wanted to see your reaction.”
“And now that you know this is a memory, more precisely, my memory, let me take you through.”
“I was born in this city, which was named le pays des cieux, which means—“
“The land of heaven”
Aurélie looked at Harry in surprise, who shrugged in reply. “What? I took French in school.”
Aurélie shook her head, smiling. “That’s good to know. It will be easier for you to understand what my people are saying.”
“Now back to where I was.” She brought attention back to her story: “This was the place where I was born. This city, if you look around, you will find that it is a city of Veelas.”
Harry looked around and saw she was right, as every person he saw looked otherworldly beautiful. He even saw some of them with wings and beaks like the bird he saw the Bulgarian cheerleader turn into.
And there was a thick layer of allure that he could feel even through the memory.
“More than five hundred years ago, when I was born, this was the city of all the Veela in the world.” Aurélie continued, “And as you can see, there were even males who were Veela. We had this city as our personal kingdom, separate from the other magical people.”
“We were peaceful people who were given the gift by the gods and never fought with others.” Aurélie's smile then turned sour. “But despite this, other magical kingdoms, who were the normal witches and wizards, didn’t like it.”
“They were jealous of us for having the gift of ethereal beauty and affinity to fire and air, something they didn’t have. And despite us having no grudges or feuds with other kingdoms surrounding us, we were still hated by them for being who we were.”
“And this jealousy and hatred of theirs led them to form a secret alliance, and they attacked our paradise one night, unsuspected." Aurélie's face darkened in anger and pain.
Harry’s eyes flew around as the surroundings changed, and the scene became that of the night when the city was attacked.
All around him, he saw in horror as the unguarded people of Veela Kingdom were brutally killed. It didn’t matter for their enemies who they were; it could be either a male, a female, or even children. They were killing everyone mercilessly.
Harry's jaw clenched, and his knuckles turned white in anger at the atrocity he was watching. How could a human being kill another only because of jealousy?
“It was the most horrible night of my life.” Harry turned and saw the anguish on Aurélie's face. “They killed everyone and destroyed everything. And we had no answer to them.”
“Despite being a kingdom, we still weren’t big enough to fight them. Every man and even every woman of my blood tried their best, but they all lost their lives one by one. Our enemies didn’t spare a single one of us; they wanted to erase us all.”
The scenes changed, and this time Harry found himself in the basement of the castle of the Kingdom. There he saw the man, who looked like the king of the kingdom, rescuing some of his people.
“We were defeated, and our king knew soon everyone would be killed by enemy armies. Because of that, he decided to rescue any of his people still alive he could find,” Aurélie told him while staring at a young, 18-year-old girl.
Harry leaned closer to the girl, and he gasped when he recognised she was the same girl who was beside him right now, just much younger.
His heart hurt seeing the fearful face of his younger grandmother. Not only that, he also noticed she was without anyone, and by going by her tears, he feared the worst.
“My parents died fighting for our kingdom,” Aurélie, with a sad smile, confirmed what he predicted and never did Harry wish more to be proven wrong.
“With his own life, our brave and powerful king saved our lives, and we were able to leave the kingdom through the secret passages safely.”
“After that, for the next year, we kept changing our locations until we were sure that our enemies were not following us. And one year later, we finally began to believe they had accepted their defeat, and we began finding our own place to rebuild our kingdom.”
“But we didn’t know that there was a traitor in between us.”
Harry’s neck snapped to her, and he saw the dark shadow on his grandmother's face while she growled those words.
“Traitor?” He asked in worry.
Aurélie nodded. “When we were on the run, one by one, every man and boy with us kept getting mysteriously killed in the night, and soon us women were the only ones still alive.”
"Obviously, our suspicion went to our enemy, which made us all scared and led to everyone getting panicked and frightened for their lives even in the night. Because of this, we realised we needed a leader who could hold all of us together.”
“It was then we decided to make Mal Allard our little group leader." Aurélie nodded towards the lady standing in front of their group.
Harry looked in memory and saw the woman she was pointing at, and he was not surprised to see a beautiful woman, but there was something wrong with her.
It was her face and the smile that she had that screamed bad to Harry.
“She was the oldest woman among us, and so we decided she was our best option to be our leader,” Aurélie snorted. "Oh, how wrong we were.”
“Why? what happened?” Harry frowned.
“One night we woke up, and all of us found ourselves tied to the ground and saw our leader doing a ritual. It was then that she told us that she was the one who killed every man and boy that night. And she had been planning the whole time while we were on the run to manipulate us and become our leader.”
“And then she told us while laughing how she was going to curse every one of our bloods by sacrificing her life. And because of that curse, we will never have a boy but only a girl,” Aurélie spat in anger as the memory of that night played before her.
Harry’s eyes widened as he asked, “Why did she do that?”
“Because she believed, as I quote, ‘the Veela kingdom should never be rebuilt,’ she screamed this before stabbing herself and cursing every Veela woman, thus changing history by making sure that no longer a Veela boy could be born to lead us back to our paradise." Aurélie told him with anger and sadness.
Harry stood with thoughts reeling in his head and still couldn’t digest that someone would do an evil thing like this.
“But what was the reason for her to do this?” Harry spread his arm in confusion. “Why would she curse her own people?”
“Because she was a woman with a big grudge, Harry,” Aurélie sighed, recalling the vile woman. “Her husband, Louis Allard, was the younger brother of our king. But where the king was a peaceful man, his brother was a warmonger.”
“He loved fighting, and his hatred for other magical people was the same as theirs for us. He wanted to, and he even forced his brother many times to attack the neighbouring kingdom for their land. But the king always said no to him.”
“Getting rejected every time Louis began becoming hateful of his own brother. And in resentment and to rebel against the king's decision, one day he took a small army with him and left the kingdom to find glory outside.”
Aurélie took her time and then shook her head. “But only a month later, his army came back, half deflated and with Louis dead body with them. Since that day, his wife has become a bitter woman who blames the king and all of the people of the kingdom for her husband's death.”
“That’s horrible” Harry whispered in shock, “No matter what happened, to betray your own blood is the worst thing in the world.”
They stayed in silence for a few seconds until Harry remembered something.
"Wait!” he said, suddenly turning to his grandmother. “If she cursed everyone, then how did you have a son? Because if I came from your line, that means surely you gave birth to a boy." He asked, feeling puzzled.
Aurélie smiled proudly at her grandson's keen observation. "Well, that’s because I never got cursed,” she smirked.
“Uh?” Was the eloquent reply from Harry.
Aurélie giggled. "Harry, before that vile woman could complete her ritual, I opened my chains because I knew how to do wandless magic. That woman might have bound our Veela power, but she was stupid enough to not bind our magical core. After I freed myself, I fled from there, and for months I was on a run.”
“I still don't know how I survived, but I did with barely any food or a shelter to sleep under for months despite my depriving health. And one day it became so bad that I didn’t even know before I fell unconscious.”
His grandmother stopped talking, and Harry noticed a soft, fond smile on her face as she remembered something. “And when I woke up, I found myself in a house with a tall, handsome man with the messiest hair I have ever seen looking at me curiously.”
She turned to Harry, who was watching her with a smile, and said, “It was your grandfather and my future husband, Richard Potter.”
"When I first woke up and saw him, I got scared. I believed him to be the enemy and that he had kidnapped me.
“But Richard was far from being a kidnapper,” Aurélie chuckled. “The poor guy got shocked when I almost killed him with my fireballs. After finally calming down and seeing him not attack me, I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt.”
“I was supposed to stay at his home for a few days only. But with the other horrible people outside who were ready to kill me, or worse, use me, I instead took your grandfather's offer to stay at his home for longer. He not only gave me a roof to stay under; he even protected me and took care of me. With him, even if some knew who I was, they never decided to attack me in fear of the wrath of the Potters.”
“And as the day went by, my trust in Richard kept increasing, and along the way, we also fell in love with each other.” Aurélie sighed wistfully at her past memories, while Harry looked at her with a soft smile.
There was a different beauty to his grandmother's face when she was talking about his grandfather. It was something he wanted to experience himself.
Shaking herself from her thoughts, Aurélie continued, “Your grandfather decided to marry me despite who I was, and I couldn’t say no to him. Soon after I became pregnant and before I gave birth to my first son, I decided to put a spell on my line.”
“What?!” Harry exclaimed in shock and anger.
“It’s not what you are thinking, Harry." Aurélie squeezed his shoulder to calm him down. “I didn’t put up a curse like Mal did. No, I put a spell on my blood, which made sure that no child of mine or the children of Potter in the future would have my Veela power. Meaning they will be just ordinary wizards or witches and not Veela.”
“And why did I do that?” His grandmother asked before Harry could, and he shut his mouth and nodded. “I did that because I didn’t want my son and their son to be in danger of others. If people found out that there were male Veelas still alive, my son would have been in grave danger. And I couldn’t let that happen.”
Harry saw the truth in her words. He was lucky enough to have been born in a time when people wouldn’t do something so extreme as kill a child for who he was. Which was why he realised he couldn’t question the decision his grandmother took 500 years ago for the wellbeing of her family.
“But of course my spell was not strong enough to hold forever, and I knew there would come a time when a Potter would be born who would break that.” Aurélie smiled, caressing his cheeks. “And that Potter is you, Harry. The sudden power you felt in the battle was your magical core breaking my course and filling you up with your true powers.”
"But...” Harry blinked, and he scratched his head in confusion. “But then why did the curse break only now? And not when I was born or even a few years before.”
“Because the curse can only be broken when your magical core is strong and big enough to break it. Which was why, finally, at the age of 18, your core became so much bigger that it finally destroyed the spell I put in Potter's blood, and now you have my powers with you,” Aurélie explained to him patiently with a comforting smile.
Harry dropped his head on his hand and rubbed it tiredly while sitting down. The whole revelation was too much and in too short a time. For his whole life, he has kept finding new things about it, but this took the cake.
"Fuck,” a long, suffering sigh left his lips, and he pressed his eyes. “So now I am not only the first magical person to survive a killing curse; I am also the first male Veela in 500 years.”
Aurélie shifted closer to him, and grabbing him in her arms, she brought his head to her shoulder. “I know it’s not easy for you to take on so many things, and you shouldn’t be bearing such a load on your young shoulders. But Harry, the reality is you have to because you are special and better than anyone else,” she whispered, rubbing his back.
“There is a reason you survived the killing curse and now become the first male with Veela powers in a long time. This all happened only to you because you are special. The burden may be heavy, but only you can hold it; after all, you are already very experienced in it after the life you had.” Aurélie comforted him with her words.
Harry smiled in her warm embrace, and pulling back, he looked at her with gratitude. “Thank you, grandmother, for your support and for being here with me to tell me all of this.”
“Don’t ever thank me for that.” Aurélie scolded him playfully. “This is the least I could do for you, my dear grandson.”
Harry smiled widely and pulled her into a strong hug, which she returned happily.
The duo of grandson and grandmother stayed like that for a minute, enjoying it for as long as they could. Until Aurélie started feeling Harry fade away.
Pulling back, she cupped his cheek. “It’s time for you to go back into the real world, Harry,” she told him softly.
Harry's face scrunched in sadness. “But I want to stay here longer with you. There are still so many things to talk about! I still want to know more about you! about my grandfather and my family!”
“I want the same as well, Harry; believe me." Aurélie remembered his face one last time with a sad smile. “But our time was always limited here, and we can’t do anything to change it. But still, I have loved spending every second of our time with you, and I will go back to my husband with a smile on my face. And I know he will be very proud of what you have achieved in your young life.”
“Thank you, grandma." Harry whispered, his voice thick with emotion and tears in his eyes. “I love you.”
“I love you too, my handsome grandson." Aurélie leaned in and kissed his forehead. "Remember, you are destined for great things in life, and I have full confidence you will achieve the highs in your life that no one has ever done.”
Harry gulped his emotion and bobbed his head. “I will, I promise you,” he said confidently.
"Good!” Aurélie smiled proudly. “And never forget you are a Potter, and there is nothing a Potter can’t do. Always keep pushing yourself and never stop working hard.”
She encouraged her grandson before he would leave her, and suddenly she remembered one more thing she knew that he didn’t.
“And also, be ready to handle many girls in your life,” she said playfully with a smirk on her face.
Harry frowned in confusion at her words. “Wha-“ he tried to ask, but before he could, his body disappeared from the limbo.
“You really are the chosen one, Harry,” Aurélie whispered into the empty air.
She knew her grandson's future road was filled with heavy rocks. His life wouldn’t be easy, and he would have to go past the hurdles with his own hard work.
But she was also confident that Harry would overcome all these obstacles in his life. And when the time comes, he will die as the greatest wizard of history.
Such was his destiny.
P/S: The next update will be tomorrow on Sunday, and it will be the new chapter of DyTSM.

2024-03-10 05:46:32 +0000 UTCThis is very good, thank you for doing both it was very difficult to choose one, sooooo couple of things, first one this remember me of a siren male story that I read,it's was very good. Can you say how mane girls harry will have ? And maybe who are they? I can't wait for the next chapter, I'm already hooked, and will be very interesting to see Fleur,Gabi and Apolline reaction to Harry been a male vela.

2024-02-25 07:47:31 +0000 UTCIt will be very interesting to see what Fleur Delacour's reaction is to harry and whether or not she will seek a bit of companionship since she could decide to mentor him in how to use his allure. I also picture Harry's relationship with Ron and the rest of the Gryffindor's being much different this time around, since the female half of Gryffindor should stick up for and prevent harry from being treated like a pariah when he tells them he didn't put his name in the goblet. I eagerly await the next part.

2024-02-25 06:25:29 +0000 UTCOne bit of critique. Don’t use ‘and’ at the beginning of a sentence. Same with other words that you would normally is a comma before the word. Examples: ‘and’ ‘but’ ‘or’ ‘so’. Edit: Be sure to capitalize ‘Death Eater’. It’s the name of a group. Gotta capitalize those and titles.
