The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update+ 11/April/2025

I went back and added a bunch into the previous chapter this week to set some stuff up that I hadn’t thought about. I do love me some foreshadowing! But that means I’ll have to go through and do a proper test and edit once more of that one.

Though I didn’t fancy editing this week yet again, so I got really stuck in with the writing!

And the topic of this week’s writing was: How would Li-Sar act if they were pretending to be the love interest…? Hmmm…

As you can probably imagine, it was great fun to write these scenes, hehe! ;D

The MC’s choice reactions were also interesting to come up with!

The second Spring Scenario Special also went up on Patreon this week. That was Felix/Farah and ‘Forget-me-not: true/memories’. F and the MC are falling into such a comfortable place with each other at this point if they’ve been in a relationship for a while, it’s always a joy to write them!

Next week, I’ll be splitting my time between the edits/testing and hammering on with the writing.

There’s a big three branch scene coming up that also has variations to those branches, so that’ll be the biggie to tackle! But you get some…very interesting peeks into how certain character branches are going to play out depending on your choices so far in these scenes.

For Update+ this week, things are getting more serious than just heated flirtation for the MC and Li-Sar (if you’ve chosen to pursue that, of course!)…

"No, meor'dal," Li-Sar replies, smiling as he/she already knows where I’m going with this. "The connection can't force emotions. Only bind us. The way you feel about me…that's all yours."

Disappointment swells in me, hoping I'd found some excuse for this—whatever this is I feel for him/her.
