In this workflow I've implemented using SDXL Lightning using the LORA as the face replacement model, and I think the results are very good!
The workflow includes ControlNet, and an Upscaler. If I have time, I will see if I can make a video version of the workflow, as video is still an area where faces can get very distorted!
The irony being that when I needed SDXL to give me bad faces to showcase the difference, it decided to give me good faces. At the very least you can see closely the Lightning model went in and provided further details on the face, which is a use case in and of itself to improve details on good faces.
