Coming Up on the NotACast - January 2025

Happy New Year everyone!!

We wanted to update you on what's coming your way from the NotACast in 2025. As we announced in December, this is what our schedule will look like every four weeks:

Week 1: Regular ASOIAF chapter episode

Week 2: No episode

Week 3: Regular ASOIAF chapter episode

Week 4: Special patron-only episode

Going forward, we'll be hosting patron polls to decide our patron episode for each month. Patrons of all levels will get to vote among a handful of potential topics; whichever topic receives the most votes will be our patron-only episode for the month...

...except this month. We're going to be tyrants and pick our own topic for our first patron-only episode of 2025, because a juicy topic landed in our laps. An ASOIAF fan recently visited GRRM's archive at the Cushing Library, read the extended version of the Prologue to A Feast for Crows (that I talked about in our recent episode on the Prologue), and posted it on Reddit. To go forward, we must go back, so we're going to do a patron-only episode on this extended version of Pate's Prologue while the canonical version is still fresh in our memory. We'll hold a poll for our patron-only episode in February--we promise!!

So this is the schedule for the rest of January and the beginning of February:
