Nettles being cut has me seething! There are so many implications with this change the biggest being cutting the one canonical black dragon rider and shoving her role off onto characters who were white in the original story simply because they are played by poc in the show is so insidious plus now the writers won’t have to portray rhaenyra as jealous racist and classist pick me girl when she finds out about the daemon nettles affair since this show is so intent on whitewashing rhaenyra. I might just drop the show now because fuck this shit
