I know you guys don't like to do what-ifs, but this episode got me thinking. People like to blame Robb for the Red Wedding due to him marrying Jeyne Westerling. However, even if he hadn't done so, once he loses the North and the Karstarks abandon him, are we to believe that Lord Walder wouldn't reconsider his alliance? Yes, he is possibly getting his lineage on a throne, but I think Frey is too concerned with always being on the victor's side that he may still take up Tywin's offer. I was also wondering about how the Northern politics would have played out had Catelyn been present. I imagine much better. Robb had asked her to go North, which Catelyn and most of us readers took to be him trying to get rid if his mom so he could be a man, but what if he was also being shrewd?
