NotACast Patreon Revamp and Welcome to our High Lords and Ladies!

Hello patrons and non-patrons alike! Today, we come to you with great joy which is to all people: we are revamping our patreon!

We have been blessed by so much support from people as we've gone through A Game of Thrones. In the 20 months since we started our project. Just to give you guys some stats. As of the end of July, we've had nearly 700,000 downloads of our podcast, 2500+ followers on podbean, 381 ratings on Apple Podcast and 864 patrons here on patreon.

All of that is not intended as a brag. Rather, we are overjoyed and floored by the support you've given us. From bottom of both our hearts, we thank you for everything you've done for us these past 20 months. You all mean the world to us, and we're excited to bring ACOK to your asses very soon! (Phrasing?)

Here on patreon, we've aspired to provide not just content but community. And we're thrilled that you all have made our little community what is here on patreon. And it's in that light that we have revamped our patreon to better foster our community. 

So, how have we done that? Let's talk!

Creation of a brand, new tier: The High Lords and Ladies at $20/month

We've been honored by our Kingsguard patrons, and much as we updated our "Lords Commander" patron tier some time ago, we are promoting our Kingsguard to "High Lords and Ladies!" 

And what are the perks of this brand, new tier? I'll tell you!

• An exclusive slack available for High Lords and small council patrons
• Our new behind the scenes patreon-only track where you get Emmett and me talking about Emmett’s cats, my daughters/the joys of parenthood and once in a while … hot, new TWOW gossip and rumors -- this will also be available for our small council too! 
• 3-day early release for all general episodes, 2-day early release for all patreon episodes  
• You can create special titles that we will shout out at the end of every episode!

But wait, what about your kingsguard? You can't get rid of the protectors of the realm (and podcast), right? Right, you are! Our white cloaks shall remain with some new benefits!

• Kingsguard patrons will go from $20 to $15 month 
• You'll now get regular episodes 3 days early and patreon episodes 2-days early!

Just as an FYI, for those current Kingsguard who wish to remain Kingsguard, you will need to manually adjust your contribution level down to $15. Otherwise, you’ll automatically become a high lord!

But wait, there's more for everyone else!

• All current tiers will get episodes one day earlier than before, because …
• Poor Fellows will now receive episodes 1-day early! So, every regular NotACast episode will come out for you all on the Sunday before the general release date on Monday!

Finally, we have heard your cries and lamentations, and merch is finally coming!

We have spoken with friend of the show and all human beings Mallory AKA Sanrixian, and she is currently mocking up T-shirt designs!

Our plan is to present all of you with the designs and then have you all vote on which one you’d like. The winnning design will become a shirt that will be shipped to our Small Council, High Lords, Kingsguard and Sworn Swords at no cost beyond your patronage.
