As you might have guessed, due to the lack of posts here, I had to put Phobos on hold again. It's because I got a freelance job working on a video game pitch. I wish I could post some images but it's all under an NDA so I'll have to wait to show anything until later, if I can.
I thought taking a freelance job would be easy to crush through but it has taken me about 5 times as long as I expected. Haha! I'm not sure I know why too. I think I've just become spoiled by working on my own stuff for the last 10 years. Maybe it's because I'm working from home instead of going into a studio to work.
Anyway, I only have a few more paintings to do to finish my obligations and I hope to get it all done by new years. They are fun to work on though. ;)
At this point, my goal is still to finish Phobos next year. Here's the thumbnail of the next spread. ;)

We are still in talks with Titan Press, to re-release all my books. The plan is to first release everything as comic issues and then TPB and Hardcovers again.
ReMIND, SITHRAH, Call Me Hallow, & PHOBOS will all be published through them if everything works out. And maybe something else depending on how things go. :)
It will be nice to finally take off all the hats required to self-publish books. I never thought I would decide to do this, but shipping has been going through the roof, and my life has really changed, so just makes sense to try this now.
We plan to launch a Kickstarter around February, for a graphic novel that I wrote, and my friend Timothy Bowden is drawing. I'll let you know more as it gets closer. :) Here's one of the pages to show you how amazing Timothy's artwork is:

I've been posting regularly on drip.haus/jasonbrubaker and will continue to do so through 2025, because it's surprisingly making a little bit of cash, and tapping into a WHOLE new audience. (Like 50,000 subscribers more)
I know some of you are violent enemies of anything crypto. But as for me, the rabbit hole has been pretty fun and eye opening. I'll start launching these little monsters next week.

Every week I'll release an additional 50 new ones only to my drip followers. If you want to start collecting them, subscribe now so you don't miss anything. ;)
I hope you stick around through 2025. I think it will be a fun year. :)
God bless, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Jason
