Personal update 🌼 Bbye glasses

Coming here to let you guys know that I'll have Laser Eye Surgery next friday! So, (hopefully) this will be the last picture you'll see of me with glasses!!! I'm definitely a bit nervous, as I know how the surgery works, but in the end it should all go okay, so I'm counting on that! 😄
I still don't have a video ready for next monday (as I arrived today from vacations 😅) but I'll try my best to let it all ready by tomorrow, as I won't be able to do anything on the weekend for sure (I'll just try to sleep the most that I can for best recovery!).
Sooooo yeah, not really channel related, but still wanted to let you guys know as this is such a big deal for me (I wear glasses ever since I was 7 years old and my sight is pretty bad haha).

PS - Special thanks to James for the Microphone stand that you can see behind on the picture (plus the USB hub), my office is starting to look more and more like a proper recording studio 🥰

Haha yes I've had the surgery, it all went well I'd say 😄 and for sure, it's definitely way more comfortable and practical not having to wear the glasses and especially the contact lenses 😁 thank you so much 😊

2022-07-20 12:12:36 +0000 UTCOh wow 😮 I haven’t checked here for a while 😕 so I am not sure if you had the surgery yet or not, but good luck! I had my first surgery ever last year and it was major. I didn’t even think about it, I wasn’t nervous at all, and it was fine. So hopefully the same for you. I have worn contacts for over 30 years, so I know what you were going through. You will feel better and will be more comfortable and it will be a better look without glasses. That’s one reason I wear contacts instead of glasses 🤓 So I wish you well and hope everything goes great, Luisa! 😊

To be honest I also have a bit of mixed feelings because I do love my glasses, but indeed they are a bit hassle a lot of the times because I mainly wear contacts for the videos and to go out, and I just end up losing a lot of time on eye care because of that. Thank you so much!! 💕

I think you look great in them. I can totally understand the desire to not have to need them to see. Maybe those of us who like the glasses will be able to convince you to wear some fake ones every now and then. I’ll be sure to say a prayer that all goes well with the surgery and that you’ll be back to making videos soon…even without glasses! 😁💐
