I was hanging out with some comics people last night, discussing staying alive while working on a book. I was talking about this Patreon thing and how I have some people pledging over $10 a month but not knowing what to offer in exchange. A few suggestions came up:
1) Offering a once a month 1 hour skype/google-hangout session to discuss/critique a patron's creative work.
2) Live streaming myself working on Forming and Tarot cards.
The first option would require some possibly tricky time-coordination (it probably would be fine), and also could get difficult depending on how many people were interested. I did a simple 3 card tarot reading about it to clarify my thoughts on skype meetings/critiques. The picture I get is a pretty mixed bag and ends on a sour note of me hanging upside down by my own pen. So I don't know about doing this. Let me know what you think of this if you can.
The second option also could mess with my homeostasis. A few years ago I tried doing something like this but got super distracted by having a camera on and people writing me questions. Obviously I wouldn't have the questions option available. Just an overhead camera so people could follow my long process of making a page. I have no idea if this would be cool to watch or not.
Let me know if either of these options are exciting. Especially if you're contributing $10+ already.
