Well, my room is hot from the 1070, and I've been rendering endlessly for couple of days - The Obsessions, and 2 other commissions.
To be honest, this will be the first month that I'm able to reduced my code gig significantly, and surviving almost purely on rendering.
It's refreshing, and I have so much ideas to deal with..
But, I have to make an announcement for you too. The new motherboard is arrived..
Yep! It's an upgrade, with 2 more ram slots for 32 GB. I haven't had the sticks in place yet, so it will be a couple of days before I can get the new machine up and running, with Windows and Daz reinstall, etc etc.
I hope with 32 GB, I could work on multiple comics simultaneously, and finish them better and quicker.

Thanks. Well, 3 G3 characters inside enclosed room took 95% of my current 16GB on rendering, and I had to sit idle until it's done rendering. With 32GB, hopefully I could get extra power to work on other scenes while rendering.

2017-04-30 00:14:38 +0000 UTCWow, 32GB, I never though that anybody would need that much RAM. Some years ago my SSD only had 16 GB and it was enough to install Windows and some games. Nice render, BTW.
