Pledge Rewards Update

Hello Everyone!

As the development of Elfheim matures we have come up with a few changes to the current pledge rewards which will hopefully simplify the understanding of our update availability, provide our more accessible pledges with faster access to new content and to give everyone a say in future polls!

Our usual and soon to be old update schedule followed 2-3 Alpha versions before a release that would be available to Porcelain and Iron patrons, this would normally mean anywhere from 3 to 4 months before these tiers could enjoy new content except for previews that Iron members have access to.

Going forward, all tiers above Wood will have access to all updates, except they are now going to be delayed for a certain amount of time as described in the image; Porcelain patrons will be able to access new releases within 4 weeks and Iron patrons will be able to access new releases within 2 weeks, for Bronze members and up, you get instant access as soon as the update is out!

For the topic of voting, we know how much you are invested in Elfheim, and for that single reason we are widening the range of tiers able to cast their vote. We're switching from a few dozen to hundreds of possible voters allowing almost everyone to participate and decide where will our projects evolve into, from character appearances to even greater plot points!

There are many feelings that come with having your own name or nick inscribed in the credits of a project that you love. To reflect on the importance of such a fact, we have changed the availability of having your own name shown on our credits to the Silver and Gold tiers. Our next update will still feature the aliases of patrons from all tiers but it will be the last before the switch to Silver and Gold only.

Overall, the changes we're going forward with make our projects available to anyone starting at the Porcelain Tier, even if you need to wait a few weeks to have access, the restriction we had previously for Alpha releases is gone. That and the changes we are making to the availability to vote on future content should improve your reward for being one of our lovely patrons!
