January animation final poll

Hey everyone, I've decided to conduct a second poll this month and it might be a bit controversial for some. The results from the first poll show that the idea with the most votes is Tyrande getting gangbanged by goblins, but I'm actually going to use the "artist's veto" on that one this month.
It's a shame because I do love the idea and how it features goblins instead of the usual orc/tauren/whatever, but I'm already doing a Tyrande animation this month and I would really prefer to work on something else next month for variety's sake. If the same Tyrande & goblins idea is submitted again next month and wins, I'll do it then no problem.
There's also been two other ideas floating near the top for the past few polls now and I think it's time to get one of them done. I have a pretty good vision for both of them, so I will leave it up to you to decide which one should get done first.
I hope you can understand my reasoning for this second poll. I really wish I had the time to animate all of the submitted ideas, but sadly these things take way too much time for that to be possible. So instead, we must choose: Alexstrasza or Jaina? The idea with the most votes wins.

You're right, I can't argue with that. I still do the poll so that the result remains driven by patrons. I feel this way is still better than just "no poll this month, sorry" but I'm always open to patron feedback!

If the idea behind making a poll is to let people decide to kind of dictate what you are going to work on, but you're not satisfied with the results, there's a very simple solution for that - don't make a poll (or skip for this particular month). Do what you like, I don't have a problem with giving artist some freedom. But at the same time it's upsetting for people for not acknowledging their choice if they were clearly asked for it.

Let's not forget that the Tyrande idea only had 6 votes more than the Alexstrasza idea (which was endorsed by 2x VIP patrons). I could've easily just declared that one the winner instead, but I also saw how the Jaina idea was in the top 3 in the past 2 polls and I'd like to give those people what they want as well. I may not be able to make everyone happy, but I try my best!

2023-01-12 19:47:13 +0000 UTCTotally understand wanting to get some variety in the animations. I imagine working with the same model for all those hours two months in a row might be less than inspiring. Perhaps the characters that win the previous month's poll are "on cooldown," so to speak.
