The hiatus doesn't mean the end of the comic. Not by a long shot. The reason I am taking this time off is so I can familiarize myself better with my tools, technique and style. I have been working on these pages, from the very beginning, using methods that have never been previously tested by myself, and such methods have ever since crippled my ability to produce content regularly. But this pitfall is purely related to my lack of skill and familiarity with the technique, as this technique is what professionals in the industry use to work by default. I need to understand better what the hell I am doing and what the best and quickest approach is.
For my Patrons, this doesn't mean you should cancel your support. In fact, content might finally start pouring in at a rate it should have been from the start. I will be producing sketches, full images and 3D assets in a variety of styles and approaches. All in preparation for full-scale production later. Some will go out into the world, but most will be kept Patreon exclusives for a limited time, and some will never go public. This will go on until I manage to find balance and produce the content at a consistent rate. That's when the SHBI comic will return and continue in a constant regular pace (FINALLY!)
