He was meant to shoot the ppl that she let go but he didn’t after he saw that she saved them. That’s why he said to her ‘intentional failure isn’t failure’! Cause he knows she failed intentionally. Thinks will make more sense in the next episode

2023-11-06 12:54:41 +0000 UTCThe seagull operation was a slaughter I think even director min said that too but basically their is no way to know if the informants are loyal or double crossing so they decided the only way was to eliminate them all just to be safe but in that you kill innocent people. Bongseoks mom Mihyun this was her first field operation she failed it by mistakenly using the flare grenade after that she claimed an injury to her eyes because she was directly hit but the flare light so her vision was affected and now she wears glasses and reduced to work desk job. Dooshik was surprised by her actions that she didn't act like a monster she gave them mercy and he's into that lol. as for Huisoo's dad he tried to salute Mihyun but felt embarrassed and then just halfway raises his hand. Mihyun is earlier grad for that special ops division and huisoos dad graduated later which makes her his senior even though she is young.

When the guy was shouting about the eagle needs to shoot the informants because they were all getting away, instead of shooting the informants who got away, he choose not to because Kim Doosik saw that Mi-hyun (Bongseok’s mom) let the other informants who was not dead yet go instead of killing them. Thats why both of them failed an operation as what Min (the boss) keeps saying and he is planning to let Mi-hyun get close to Kim Doosik to know more about his plans since Kim Doosik is known for not really following orders and Min feels like Kim Doosik got his own agenda.

Yes, there were some double informants, but she was seeing everybody getting shot at, so she was like ey you're just killing everybody on sight, this is not right, some are innocent. That's what I think, at least. Regarding your second question, you'll just have to keep watching the show.
