Damn I watched this episode a year ago but I'm still sobbing at sasha's death, it really broke me.

2023-11-13 21:26:43 +0000 UTCMy favorite thing about AOT is how everything is based on perspective; if we started with Gabi, we would root for her as we do with Eren. HOWEVER, I still hate Gabi. Eren is a morally grey character who has done and will do morally wrong things, but the deciding factor for me is that Eren had no idea of the people of Marley. Paradis only became a threat because Marley was scared of what could happen and what Eldians did in the past. Gabi grew up knowing this, and I understand why she thinks and acts that way when that is what you were brought up believing, but Gabi doesn't try to understand the people of Paradis or why they are doing what they are doing. She can't see how what they did was wrong, while Eren knows his actions are wrong. Again, it's all perspective.

She basically said it don’t matter that they trampled paradis bc they deserve to die but then turns around and ask “why” OHHGGHHHHHHH she pisses me off😭 and I agree with y’all that they had to do something. The whole world already wanted them gone. The only reason Willy had everyone in Marley and was giving a speech was so that he could declare war on paradis. They were always gone be attacked so it’s good they hit first. Eren ain’t gone just sit and wait for ppl to come kill him and his ppl. Sasha thooooo💔

2023-11-02 02:33:55 +0000 UTCThus the “I hate Gabi” train was birthed lol. I will say, as far as teams go, I remain conflicted still. Had the series of AOT started with Gabi, I’d be rooting for her. But it started with Eren. We’ve spent more time in Paradis Island than in Marley. It’s like Rick & Negan in anime form. Who’s really bad and who’s really good? Hard to tell & depends on who’s telling the story.

Seems like the day 1 ppl be changing on him when it’s all for them. Why was Eren mom killed? It’s the whole world against them? Come on… been with Eren since day 1 no matter what.

Zeke & Eren seem to have masterminded this plan & forced the Scouts to come help. Zeke says that now they’ve brought together “A Titan with royal blood (himself) & The Founding Titan (Eren).”
