They sold him a dream about having powers but he don’t have any and even broke his leg in the process so the school started to focus more on class pres so he got jealous and resentful !

Hope you add a countdown on the YT edit 🤣 you're right, this show does drop details here and there to piece together, so it's good to pay close attention. You're doing great so far at noticing some things, though, so I'm just hoping you remember them when the time comes that those details get revealed lol anyway, I know you have a planned week, but like others are saying, episodes 8-9 and 10-11 are best watched together, because they're like their own little sections of the story hehe P.S. Jang Juwon (Huisoo's dad) best k-drama dad so far 💯💯💯 the actor also won a big award recently for his role in this!

2023-10-31 03:48:33 +0000 UTCthe guy in the gym at night is not the bully kisoo its the transfer gym teacher who keeps asking for the files, if you rewatch the scene its guy with black sweats and straight bowl looking hair and it was the scene right after he mentioned to the other teacher that they should test the kids. Kisoo the student bully he was in the PE program like Huisoo but he broke his leg and after he failed the program and became the bully angry at life and everyone else especially the class president who unlike him did pass the program as we see in a prior episode he is graded S tier the highest grade. It's kinda like a football player breaking his leg senior year when all the college scouts come, having to lose out on his career it would make angry like why me.

His mom didn’t care about him and she didn’t even act like she was trying to stop the men that took him away. So I’m guessing them protecting their own kids triggers him.

Can we talk about the romance in K dramas ? they are another level. We're getting all excited just by "I miss you" like here with Hee soo and Bong seok. I was just to focused and annoyed at the bully the first time I saw this episode so I missed it and assumed it was him. If y'all watch them a week apart then y'all might forget some details. Not saying you will but it's just a suggestion. This show has a lot of details and you need to understand all of it in order for things to make sense.

You’re supposed to make the connection when he’s dealing with the guy who ordered the chicken and cigarettes. He says he’s from that town, Guryongpo.

And she made a comment like, “Of course they’d send a native Korean.” It’s why his Korean isn’t so good as well. He didn’t understand what the Korean term for “second string” meant and so he asked the mom (the hairdresser called him that). It has an extra sting as some Korean-American adoptees have their “Koreanness” questioned when they try to reconnect with their birth country. I’ve had two friends struggle with that. It really adds a human layer to someone who could have just been a one-note villain hunting the good guys. This show does an excellent job humanizing nearly all of the characters.
