The car chase scene is esp FIRE considering the show has established & reminded us several times already that Yi-Hyun had to give up his baseball career bc he busted his leg & can't run at full speed anymore!

26:39 He broke the lock so the people who came to the rooftop using the other door, could go through the locked door.. he said that he told them to leave the roof but the door was locked. so he broke it to unlock it.

ok think about it this way in All of Us are Dead the high schooler instantly realize they are zombies just like the movies, but in Happiness not a single character has called the infected a zombie not once has it been mentioned iirc, so they are not zombies, they are humans with a disease, that is why its supposed to test the morals with hyun and sae bom both wanting to protect the human infected, while glassess is at the point of killing them to end the madness, and you have to think of their own perspectives glassess has been in the frontlines dealing with them from the very start, while hyun and sae bom both just have the small experience with actual infected in the apartments who they spoke to face to face as normal humans. You can take either side you want but neither side is totally wrong.

P.S. I love love LOVE this show's main couple so much (the characters & the actors too!) Their dynamic, chemistry, & relationship are all so incredibly well matched & well acted. BEST "contract marriage" trope in a Kdrama ever!

I think fans who saw many zombie Kdramas (or I guess any zombie show/movie) have a hard time with the mindset of this show's main couple- in this show, the "zombies" are human, they're not monsters. The best analogy I can provide is covid - they are just infected people at the start of a pandemic. When covid started, no one would say just kill them, even if they were going around purposely infecting others.

He broke the lock so the infected could leave to go back to their building.

Iβve been meaning to say that ever since episode 3 or 4 Iβve been feeling like something may happen to Hyun. I canβt tell if theyβre foreshadowing but he was hit with a few hypotheticals that felt like they might actually happen. I was reminded again in this episode when Tae-seok lectured Sae-beom on hesitating to kill someone infected and how it could cost someone.

Andrew claimed infected people came to the roof & he told them to go downstairs but remember that door was locked by the police couple bc it connects to the other building. So we are led to believe he broke the lock so he could send them down, which it appeared that way when Leutenant Han opened the door to check & there was the infected guy there, the one who got in their building but now he's down the stairs of the other connected building. (But to quote Leutenant Han - Andrew told them to go down those stairs & they just went?! π€ weird...)

That really messed me up. I had just watched episode 6 the night before and his face was one of the last things I saw before falling asleep. Woke up to the news and it honestly took me a few minutes to even process it. So incredibly sad. 36 is no age at all.

The scene between the brother/sister duo hit even harder and even sadder knowing Na Chul is actually gone. π
