2024-10-29 20:25:21 +0000 UTCevery show i’ve watched i loved it more w ur reactions but even ur reactions for this was joy enough to make me love this show😭 it was so predictable like i knew he wasn’t going to die, i knew that they would get healed, putting in a serial killer felt like the just wanted to prolong the episodes like there was no need. i think focusing on other buildings and how they handled the situation would have been good. and i agree the chemistry with the main characters was just mid. wasn’t a bad show but not missing out on anything without watching it.

2023-02-11 18:43:01 +0000 UTChealer is really overrated imo. it was like a bad sequal to city hunter. like those straight to vhs sequals. the actors are better in other dramas, also. i wouldn't recommend this as an introduction to them since it may make them weary about watching their better work in the future. that's like me recommending boys over flowers because lee minho is in it. could you imagine them watching that utter wreck lol. oh man. sometimes it's better to start with one or two better works before going to their more questionable ones.

So good & epic! Incredible storytelling, awesome acting, the BEST bromance ever, & beautiful cinematography & soundtrack (Only on Viki tho). Also, there is an older show called Healer that is such a good mystery, action, & romance story! Or Crash Landing on You (great love story) or Start Up (FUN w/the best 1st/2nd male lead debate!) if you want something on Netflix. If you want something short & sweet, there is a recent 4-episode Kdrama called Soundtrack #1 on Disney Plus starring Park Hyung Sik (male lead from Happiness) & Han So Hee (female lead from My Name) - such a cute show! Whatever you decide, I'm looking forward to your next Kdrama journey!!!

For a laugh and change from zombie shows, you should check out, Strong Girl Bong-soon. This is one of the shows that really got me into Korean shows. You also have your boy in the show.

It’s literally got EVERYTHING. If not alchemy of souls I would recommend, strong girl bong soon, weight lifting fairy or flower of evil. Just head ups older drama (before 2017) are little bit more cheesy. Thank you so much for these reactions tho you guys have no idea how much they brighten up my day I’ll watch any drama you react to, even if I don’t like the drama you guys make it fun 🫶🏾

Since we know that she's been infected for a while. Remember the dialogue exchange between the son and Lee Bo-Ram when he says "I think my mom is infected" and she scoffs at him and asks "you're scared, not worried?" I always looked at it as her being defensive not for the mother but for herself.

2023-02-10 06:13:12 +0000 UTCi know people keep saying alchemy of souls. it's a great show, to be sure, but you should know heading in to it that it is a period piece, so there might be some adjustment to the style and speech, and it's a two part-er, with the first being 20 episodes and the second being 10, if i'm not mistaken. it'll be a long commitment. worth it, just long. especially if you only do one or two episodes a week. also to throw my suggestions in to the mix, again, the uncanny counter (16 ep) move to heaven (10 ep) dp (6 ep) the king eternal monarch (16 ep) when the camellia blooms (20 ep) rain or shine (16 ep) goblin the lonely and great god (18 ep) start up (16 ep) all of these are available on netflix except goblin. all i would highly recommend to watch at some point. ya'll are great and so fun to watch that i'm sure whatever you choose i'll find it entertaining to watch

The second half got a little messy and the story was dragging for some characters. But I did enjoy the lead characters and the fact that its not necessarily a zombie show plus the different levels of infection, people controlling their urges and the antibody carriers...thought this was really interesting

She is a bit impulsive, but she is fierce, independent, self-sufficient, physically can hold her own, & quick/smart thinking in crisis. Most importantly, she protects the ones she loves (how she was with the little girl was so sweet!) She wasn't as affectionate or lovey in the beginning with YiHyun bc it was a contract marriage but once she realized her feelings for him, she was also willing to love him at all costs. I love this character! (It's ok for us to have a different opinion tho; to each his/her own 😉)

I really liked how this show was so similar to the covid pandemic- infection, panic & terrible/stupid human behavior (i know you mightve thought the stupid behavior on the show was ridiculous but REALLY - when covid started there were some REAL stupid behaviors from real people!), lock downs & quarantine, & hope for treatment & for things to get better. Also a clear message that sometimes people are the worst, that family or love can help you endure the worst, & happiness is found in non-monetary things (bc at the start of the show, SeoBum thought getting the apartment would bring her happiness but learned it's who you share your life with that matters.)

It’s a Korean show where they have different people ( body builders, Olympic athletes, soldiers, etc) compete to see who is the strongest. And I just think y’all’s reaction would be so much fun!!!

It literally has everything Action, fantasy, romance, family, friends, chemistry, plot, comedy. You won't be disappointed. Also it's a traditional fantasy kdrama so it would be nice if you can see a different side of kdrama like cultural.

Remember her son was explaining to the girl in his room that he saw the pictures on his mom’s phone and then like after that he could hear his mom making noise and banging around in the room. She turned but they jus never showed us cause I guess it didn’t matter since her and her husband stayed in their apartment for most of the show lol.
