As far as I know, the term comes from the age of sailing ships. Where a place at a dock is called a berth. So, "give that one a wide berth" is a comment on how much room a ship needs at a port to avoid crashing into the dock or other ships. It can be a comment on the ship itself being large or hard to steer, but can also be a comment on its captain being incompetent, careless, and/or dangerous to others around him. So, "give him a wide berth" grew into giving someone extra space as a means of avoiding trouble.

Its crazy how quickly this show gets you attached to its characters and seeing you get emotional over things like Eris defending Rudy is just so great. I cannot wait to watch all these reactions! Hands down one of the best react channels ever.

So thats just something she got used to :P I think a lot of people tend to forget the fact that a lot of time passes between some episodes, people get closer and tell eachother things you wouldnt say to others. Also Eris doesnt feel like someone who would mind if they have the right place and the right mood :D
