Dev Diary - Maybe Too Big

The project progresses, but not as quickly as I'd like. Admittedly I would love to release a beta now, but I have to wait for the writers to finish their end of things. I set out to make the largest FA game out there, but I'm thinking now that not everyone was prepared for it. It's a very large game, and I have a grand story arc to make, but I am not so certain all the writers have it in them. Some do, no doubt, but others . . . seem to waiver. I've lost many writers over the 2 years of developing this game, some of which were some of the best writers I have ever had the pleasure of working on this project, but all of them couldn't handle what LITWTMH demanded. No fault or discredit to them (most of them, anyway. Some were kicked for various reasons), as real life takes priority over LITWTMH, but it still saddens me to see them go. I do wish the best for them and hope that maybe one day some come back to finish what they started, but in the mean time I must find replacement writers.

As for the game itself, I am quite proud of its direction. The feel of the game is definitely that of romance and love, with a touch of eroticism - exactly what I set out to make. I love the look of it and fine-tune it every so often or give it a new feature to make it all that more authentic feeling (in regards to a AAA game, though this will never be). I have been coding this thing from the beginning and have received a lot of help over the past 2 years; I've learned so much and feel well equipped to take LITWTMH all the way to the end, but are the others? I'm not so certain that those who remain will make it to the end.
