Considering a lot of stories, both fan and official include ghosts in holocrons, a symbiotic link where a living sith can control their holocron's gatekeeper doesn't sound too far fetched, doubly so for The Chosen One.

It'd be delicious if Talzin gets to peruse it, tries to do so later without Ventress and just gets Vader saying "Unauthorized access. You are not one of my Apprentices."

I have to believe Vader has some safeguards to it. Wouldn't be surprised if he can project through it because of his connection to it. Let her peruse it but by the force don't leave her alone with it even if it does have safeguards

2026-03-18 16:53:32 +0000 UTCWhile Vaderkin IS trying to establish his own Sith Order in the shadows of both Palpatine and the Jedi Order's influences...he WAS an apprentice of Palpatine at one point in his perceived life and he isn't completely tossing out everything the Banite Sith believe...so how much of the Darkness that Talzin senses in the galaxy is actually under Sidious' control? The majority of it, of course, but is that split bigger than Talzin realizes?

2026-03-18 16:28:31 +0000 UTCI dont belive either Ventress or Talzin would allow or belive to borrow without Ventress observing (unless ordered by vader) it is not the sith thing to do or dark sider just the fact of letting her borrow it with her there is a great show of trust with the chance in the future to borrow it alone if it goes well. Great chapter and story as always loving it
