Dev Update 02/22/2025

We're back to regular dev updates now that Chapter 4 is fully done and shipped out! The public release will happen sometime next week.
Things are heating up... both with Alice & Luke as with the other characters and what better way to cool off than... to go to the beach?
But before I dive into the development of Chapter 5, I've heard some feedback regarding the overall story and some inconsistencies with some renders and missing features in the game. Which is why I'll be working on Chapter 4.5 first. This update will include an additional flashback story of what happened between Alice & Sophie before Alice met Luke, but will mainly focus on cleaning up some inconsistencies with renders in the earlier chapters and a slight rework of Chapter 1, so that it sets up the story in a better way. I estimate this will only take 2 weeks to make, including the new content. (I also commissioned the animator to animate some earlier scenes in the game).
This will be a smaller update, before I start working on Chapter 5. I want to pollish up the game, so that I can focus on moving forward instead of having to look back at my earlier work, which was not as good as what it is currently.
I'll also be implementing a replay feature so you can play through your favorite scenes again and/or a gallery feature to view the CG's.
