I read The Alchemist several years ago. It felt very much like a fable then, and still does now when you remind me of it. A super interesting take on destiny, as you said there at the end. Not sure I would show up for a movie night, but I would totally show up for book club 😉 Might have to dust off The Alchemist again, if you continue this series That said, I am not sure The Alchemist is the best “ASMR content”. I am racking my brains for what I would consider night-time reading. I think it might be really fun with something like Peter Pan or the Wizard of Oz. Books where people might know the gist of the content, but have not actually read before. And also a cadence and paragraph size that lends itself better to being whisper-read.
