The above little story is my interpretation of the emotions and motivations behind this sequence, so they're not strictly canon for either character c:

I had a bunch of fun drawing this one >:D I tried a slightly different approach to shading the hair, which I really like. Going to try using it more often in the future.
I'm also paying closer attention to my light-sources, something I've let slip my mind in some drawings.
Lastly, I put extra effort into which color certain lines are. For example, making the lines for Reael's hair blue, instead of leaving it red like most of the others, made a huge difference in how radiant her hair appears. It also adds a pleasing contrast, making it stand out a bit more.
