Sketching Practice - 2018/08
Added 2018-08-11 14:12:08 +0000 UTCA relatively quick something I put together, to help inform the approach I'll take with future "quick" drawings". I sampled elements from other artists I admire, to put together an example of what I think is the essence to their respective sketches.
An important factor is speed, but also pleasing aesthetic. There's something I like in all of these styles c:
I'm not looking to narrow down to only one of these approaches though. Each are suited better for certain layouts and scenarios. An internal view would benefit greatly from shine effects and fills, while a casual setting with a background that demands at least the impression of detail, would benefit from a rougher, lined look.
