How humiliating~... You didn't even make it out of the tutorial~~~ </3

Some game-worlds hold your hand, slowly introducing you to its inherent mechanics, with maybe even a few tips and tricks to help you survive... this is most certainly not such a game >:] This is the kind that makes you learn through failure, through pure peril!

You petite heroines are so quick to think the starting gear is more than enough, that it would get through this story, ungurgled, in one undigested piece ❤ Too bad such endearing hubris lets you stroll right into a carnivorous tree's snares!

This hungry tree blends well into the rest of the game-world, so don't blame your cute, edible self too much. Only their vines give them away. An ingenious method of subduing prey, each vine instinctively twists itself into a slack hangman's noose. When you come along, blissfully unaware of danger, the vine casually loops over your head, around your neck, and finally tightens by hoisting itself up, dragging your delicious body with it! e//3//e

As you might guess, this tree's ability has a stun effect. You're left helplessly dangling, immobilized, unless you can somehow free yourself from the noose. You take slow, passive damage too. Oh, don't have the gear or spells to help you out, huh? Any protection buffs? Nope. That means you get to be tree-food! ^ o ^

This is GAME OVER for you, hun~ While you're free to respawn, you're welcome to stick around for your slow, painful, voracious end-game sequence c;

The tree's hoisting you into his maw now. Once it swallows up your hips, it won't take much effort to pull the rest of you in. Your body's gonna be strained down into its roots, out of sight, so that your bulge doesn't give the tree away to other hapless adventurers ✿

Once you're finally nestled, deep and tight inside the tree's root, it'll slowly and agonizingly digest you into a creamy, nitrogen-rich pulp. Your body gets to be the tree's own secret fertilizer. After you're churned away for good, the game will respawn you automatically~

At least now you know how to spot these trees! Look out for the vines next time, you silly, delightful little snack, you~ ( ◞･౪･) And hey, you got an achievement! Yay!

I know the vertical, mobile aspect-ratio isn't exactly something you'd play Steam games on, but I guess if you have a vertical monitor for programming, you might play some games like this...? >w< LOL I dunno! Hope you like it!
