Under the brooding & arrogant surface, Logan has a conscience (and a hero complex)... so it's no wonder he felt guilty about using Hannah to get to her dad. And Hannah is wholesome and genuinely liked him... so that's appealing. In the circles that Logan and Veronica inhabit though... poor girl was out of her depths. Logan & Veronica work so well because their masked damage & complexies suit each other.

2025-06-16 00:56:33 +0000 UTCThe title of the episode is a play on the title of the novel and film The Grapes of Wrath. The Rapes of Graff because Troy VanderGRAFF. And there's Stacy being wrath full about wanting Troy punished. So, it all fits together on numerous levels. And the Pi Sig Troy confronts at the party saying "initiative" with such emphasis. Maybe I'm reaching, but he says it at a college party and Buffy discovers "The Initiative" once she goes to college. Or, maybe it's just another in a long line of Buffy references throughout this series.
