The funny thing here is that the show is inspired by books written by Dr. Kathleen Joan Reichs who is a forensic anthropologist (also producer on show ) and the character in her books is bones/ dr Brennan. And in the show bones writes books about a forensic anthropologist called Dr. Kathy Reichs
