Takeaway: never trust Tom Cruise's cousin (Ethan). But, yeah, Ethan doesn't really raise too much suspicion because we met him in the last episode... where he'd gone hunting with Locke... and Hurley found the golf clubs while sorting thru stuff with him. Plus we met the hypochondriac guy with the rash in the previous episode as well. So it doesn't seem entirely strange. That creepy dead-eye stare he gives Claire & Charlie at the end... *shudder*. Very much enjoying your reactions and perceptive thoughts. Particularly that you regard the Island as a character of its own. This is definitely a show for you. S1 has 25 episodes... with a 3 part finale (with eps 24 & 25 originally airing together on the same night). And the Winter break was after the next ep, #11.
