Just started your PoI reactions now, and i'm looking forward to catching up. This show is a massively underrated gem that was so ahead of its time.
And the soundtrack is just incredible.

Love this show, it can be so clever. This twist shouldn't work yet like you say it makes perfect sense. Played Collier like a fiddle and ironically brought about the very thing he was railing against. If you ever rewatch it, you can see how Decima used Vigilance to its advantage especially in the latter half of the season. Every time Decima needed something for Samaritan, Vigilance was around to divide/distract attention. I fell in love with Control from this episode. What a bamf. Most shows are about protagonists/antagonists but this show has a wide variety of characters with their own goals, beliefs etc and sometimes it means they're the bad guys and sometimes they're on your side depending on what they want. The show does really well at playing around with that sort of thing. Even Greer who is the closest to being solely "the bad guy" is only that because he has his own belief system/ideology that just doesn't fit in with Harold's.

Waiting for season 4 over the summer was hell lol. I was so ready for Hersh to be team-ajecacent , much in the same way I consider Elias . Bear lead the best investigation he could.
Control was a Boss, gotta hand it to her. Finch's testimony was heartbreaking. I did like Collier, but his ending made sense. I love this show has long running tiers of villains.
I rate this season cream of the crop. The way they seemlessly went from the HR story, to Samaritan, but without ever forgetting Carter down to the last minute of this season.
Some shows age really badly with time, but imo, this one only becomes more relevant with AI and questions about it.
