We're back! The entire fandom agrees with you on your analysis of Cy. It's probably the worst thing Dean's ever done, killing an innocent KID.

that's a beautiful eulogy and analysis, Ed. Thank you for sharing.

Gonna have to wait a couple of weeks to watch this and other shows, 'cause hubby and I are celebrating our 40th anniversary on Sunday (6/1) and will be on a two week vacation starting later this week. I wanted to watch both the last two of 'SPN' together, so it will work out, but I hate waiting! LOL

The following paragraph is a paraphrase (name changed) of a eulogy and prayer given by a Stephen King character to and for their own found family member, in a novel I wouldn't be at all surprised to find on Charlie's bookshelf: Time flies, knells call, life passes, so hear my prayer. Birth is nothing but death begun, so hear my prayer. Death is speechless, so hear my speech: This is Charlie, who served her fate and her family. Say true. May a forgiving glance heal her heart. Say please. May arms raise her from the darkness of this earth. Say please. Surround her with light. Fill her with strength. If she is thirsty, give her water in the clearing. If she is hungry, give her food in the clearing. May her life on this earth and the pain of her passing become as a dream to her waking soul, and let her eyes fall upon every lovely sight; let her find the friends that were lost to her, and let everyone whose name she calls call hers in return. This is Charlie, who lived well, loved her own, and died as fate would have it. Each woman owes a death. This is Charlie. Give her peace. With that said, I really like this episode. It's a breath of fresh air for me after the dank, fetid, toxic swamp of last episode. Not just the way Dean wipes out the murderers of his adopted sister but also the study in the new depths of his darkness in murdering an innocent. And the ending is almost literally heartstopping and then restarting.
