2025-05-11 17:08:50 +0000 UTCOne of the things that's so compelling about Dexter is the mind of a killer tuned to killing worse killers. In shows like Buffy and Supernatural... it's generally very taboo to kill any humans, even though human monsters tend to be the worst monsters of all. I know there are plenty of shows that deal with that, like Criminal Minds, etc... But I don't know, for some reason, Dexter always feels like it has more in common with a dark & nerdy scifi show than a gritty crime show.
