Veronica Mars 1x22 "Leave It to Beaver" Full Reaction

'Leave It To Beaver', indeed. OK, time for that Aaron Echoll's rant... HE BEAT THE SHITE OF DYLAN (who, sure, a terrible human) FOR BEATING TRINA. And even said "Think you could hit my daughter, huh?" (a line that you singled out in your after chat). COMING FROM THE MAN WHO BEAT THE DAUGHTERS OF TWO OTHER FAMILIES (one to death; and the other damn near close to it) IN NEPTUNE IS WILD AF! I LOATHE HIM! GRR! It was karma that got Aaron in the end, because that was a flower delivery truck... WITH A BIG OLE LILLY ON THE SIDE OF IT! "Don't forget about me, Veronica" - Lilly "I could never" - Veronica You're too ICONIC to forget about Lilly <3 Oh, you are SO not prepared for the explosive storytelling of S2! ;)

Fantastic finale. Went full on tense horror movie for a while there. The reveal makes so much sense that it should've been more obvious to us sooner... but kudos that it wasn't. I love the juxtaposition that Backup didn't hesitate to attack Aaron... but was gentle as a lamb with Logan on the beach. That says it all. Veronica and Keith have such a beautiful relationship, regardless of biology. But also, yay... Keith Mars is your daddy. Love when you said - bring out Elias - in the fight against Aaron. Enrico Colantoni is such an incredible actor. Keith Mars doesn't seem like Elias... and Carl Elias doesn't seem like Keith.... Yet they are both such compelling portrayals.

There is so much I could say about why I love this episode because it is so good! It's one of those I would love to see for the first time again so I really loved seeing your reaction to it. The atmosphere of the whole episode is so well done, especially the tension in the second half. Veronica and Keith have so many great moments in this episode. Keith once again proving he deserves the dad of the year reward, the man literally walked through fire to save his daughter. And the reveal was so emotional. While I believe Veronica and Keith have such strong bond it shouldn't matter whether he is biological father or not it was great to see them happy and relieved about it. And it's definitely a huge relief for Duncan and Veronica. I also love how the reveal of the killer was done - it at the same time makes so much sense considering everything we know about him, yet it also isn't necessarily expected considering the viewer has no idea just how closely he is connected to Lilly. And it's heartbreaking to think of how everyone would be affected by the revelation. For example, Logan and Duncan with Logan learning that his girlfriend was killed by his father who also had an affair with her and Duncan learning his parents just assumed he killed his sister and that the person who really killed her was his best friend's father. Really looking forward for you to get to season 2 ๐Ÿ˜„

This episode was amazing. My highlights were. Duncan and Veronica are NOT related... I just been team DuVE... I know most have been loving Logan/Veronica... don't hate them but just not in love with them. I did feel bad for Logan that Veronica wasn't believing in him. I loved that we find out that Duncan parents always assumed Duncan killed Lily... it explained a bit more about them and when we saw that first flashback of Duncan and Lily, as you I thought it was fake aswell... The reveal of who killed Lily was quite the twist! Keith and Veronica entire relationship. Great father/daughter! Also I loved how realistic the Keith and Aaron fight was. Now... who is at the door to greet Veronica? Time will tell.
