The point is that they hyped up the battle as this ultimate fight when it was just a leg up from zankou and the source. It was a spectical to a degree yesterday, however Piper went back in time and stopped it so it didn't even fully take place. Then later on, it was actually Billie who stopped everything if we're being honest. This was no different from their typical fights that they went up against throughout the season, except this time they were going up against a pair of sister witches who relied on their sisterhood for power similar to the charmed ones. Nothing was spectacular with the actual outcome. You are saying that they didn't need to do it again but that's exactly what they should have did just based on the emphasizing of the fight throughout the season and most especially since it was used as the catalyst to why Leo was taken early on in the season.

2025-03-23 14:30:57 +0000 UTCthe epicness of a final battle happened in the previous episode, they literally destroyed the Halliwell manor. the series finale is about the emotional core of the entire show and wrapping up an 8 season run, they didn't need to go as hard again as they did just one episode before.

(Just kidding I can't wait to see all the shows you'll do in the future too) My headcanon is that the little girl who closed the door at the end is Chris and Bianca's daughter, they somehow fell in love again and got married like they were supposed to. (I haven't read the comics so idk what happens) Even though I'm not a fan of this season I love this finale, I love all the time travel and even though getting rid of Christy was kinda anticlimactic I'm glad they gave us a happy ending. Seeing Chris and Wyatt together just makes me so happy (and I believe the 3rd child is named Melinda?). Also if I remember correctly, they wanted to do a spin-off for Chris and Wyatt but WB at the time had just launched Supernatural the year prior so I guess they didn't want 2 shows about 2 brothers fighting evil even though Charmed fans would've watched the show and supported it so I'll always be bitter about that lol. Even though I commented my questions for the q&a later, right now I wanna ask: so is Piper one of your fave characters of all time (feel like I already know the answer 😉 haha, I'm glad you love her as much as I do). And also are Piper and Leo one of your top ships of all time (also feel like I know the answer lol). I'm just so happy you enjoyed this wonderful show so much and now you can watch reactions if you aren't already! I hope we still get new reactors to it, this show is still so underrated imo. But big hugs to you Liam 🫂 at least it didn't break your heart and made your heart happy instead!

When Piper wanted to kill Billie at the end of 8.21 I was like “yes!” And Leo is so confused not knowing what happened… what a crazy season 8 end before the series finale. Hollys acting in that entire last scene was just amazing. Series finale was just amazing but let me go watch this reaction as I expect to not disappoint.

Then I guess one of the show runners stated that they didn't wanna overshadow the plot with Prue's return because that would happen since she was a main character who hadn't been seen for five seasons except be mentioned.

I just love to imagine before they came to the past Chris having a talk with Wyatt, telling him he mustn’t spill anything and has to be really careful, and so the second he realises what he’s blurted out Wyatt is just terrified because he knows Chris is gonna kill him. 😭

Thank you so much for reacting to this show, it was such a wonderful journey to re-experience it again through your reactions. Charmed reactions were actually how I initially found your channel so they'll always be special to me. This finale has to be one of my favorite tv show finales of all time - bringing so many characters together giving them such a wonderful ending... It just feels like such a perfect ending to me and the episode in itself is such a Charmed episode. It's true that the absence of Prue hurts, with all the time jumping it would've been a perfect opportunity to include her. But accepting the behind the scenes problems aside, it really was such a wonderful ending that this show deserved, with so many funny, heartwarming and emotional moments.

Chris' immediate annoyance and hitting him, Wyatt looking at him horrified, the girls all being shocked, PATTY'S SMILE! And poor Coop just being left to deal with that alone. Wyatt definitely got a long lecture from Chris the second they got back to their time... 🤣

The ending was so dark and definitely not something we all thought would happen.. but it was definitely a happily ever after. Can’t wait to watch the next tv show with you

Yes, the battle wasn't that 'grand' but it didn't need to be, it showed that the sisters carry on, they have family, legacies, and because of that it is one of my all time favorite tv show finals.

It was Billie killed her sister and nothing about it was grand based on how they were hyping it up to be as their biggest battle they'll ever faced when it wasn't. Definitely hated that Prue was only mentioned but not seen since every other character dead, or alive can comeback. Overall, it was a decent finale with some good wrap ups.

It's also extremely unfortunate that Billie wound up having to kill Christy. By the time that Billie found her, it was way too late to save her. She'd been with the Triad for too long. I wish that we'd gotten to see more of Billie after Christy's death, but I'm happy that she was able to find happiness afterward.

The way it was written, the respect that was paid. The lovely ending. Thank you, Liam for your genuine reactions. Although you have officially seen every episode, each time you turn it back on to watch episodes, of whatever season, you'll love it even more. I have thoroughly enjoyed watching your Charmed reactions since 02/2023. Another great reaction here. This is the best season/series finale I have ever seen!!! Seasons 1-3 will always be my favorites, specifically Season 3 so I understand. I have a love for each season that is indescribable. Also, I'm ready for the xfiles
