Damon was just waiting for the right moment to tell Elena about Aaron. He always wants good for her even if it isn't for himself this is quite evident with him. Delena's ending moment was damm hot. Also I really love Stefan's bond with Caroline it's too cute.

I don't think there's anything wrong with that intention. He couldn't know that she would blame herself. And when he knew he couldn't wait any longer. It's not like Stefan has always been immediately upfront. As someone who grew up on soap operas... that final Delena scene was a delight. I don't mind their conflicts... being self-aware is half the battle to improvement. As the saying goes.... the course of true love never runs smooth. I mean, it's vampires... I expect their darker natures to surface. And I like that Elena is imperfect with Damon... fictionally speaking, that's more dynamic. Caroline & Stefan's abiding friendship was the real highlight for me though. Love their vibe.
